MY SNEAKY PEEP GOT A SHOWING

Hi Everyone

How goes it with you?

I do believe I feel a bit better today .. .. yay!!  Though I still haven't gained a gold star for sleeping through the night yet :-(

I have even managed a bit of the dreaded housework and been much more productive on the card production front too.  So things are picking up!!

All of my makes have been for orders today so I have decided to share with you the full version of the "sneaky peep" I showed you on Friday ahead of the launch of the new Funky Hand CD at the weekend and then another make that might make an appearance on Friday.

Here is the full version of what I shared last Friday:

This used:

Backing Papers and Sentiment:  Funky Hand CD "Craft the Year Away"
Ribbon and Buttons also from Funky Hand (lots of new goodies appearing in Anice's stash shop) The ribbons are lush!!!!
Woodware Punches:  Scalloped Oval and Large and Medium flowers
Distress Ink:  Barn Door

Did you manage to catch Anice on Sunday?  If so you might have caught a glimpse of my make.

The sentiment oval was made by typing the words "Happy" and "Birthday" multiple times using the CD writer.  I just kept changing the type, size and colour of the font for each word.  Some beautiful fonts on the CD .. .. .. must make some makes to showcase these for you.  I am sure you will love them as much as I do.

Anice has another two live shows being shown this Friday .. .. .. so a warm comfy sofa will be my order of the day (along with colouring supplies and a few mugs of coffee -  LOL!!).

Here is another make using the same CD .. .. love the colours in this set.

All images, papers and sentiments are from the Funky Hand CD "Craft the Year Away"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Nestabilities:  Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Large

Faux Stitching using a dressmakers tracing wheel
Glamour Dust
Crystal Stickles

I am around bright and early tomorrow as a new challenge is being launched over at Penny Black at Allsorts .. .. so see you then.

Have a lovely evening.

SUNDAY SCRAP - WEEK 4

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a lovely Sunday.  We have had some lovely sunshine here today .. .. but it has been very cold and the washing was determined not to dry outdoors.

Of course Sunday in the House of Hearts now means that I am only allowed to play with scraps.  Scrap bits of paper, card and ribbon etc in the hope of reducing the ever increasing scrap stocks.  Lots of links and clicking about in this post .. .. but well worth it!!!  Lots of lovely inspiration for us all to share.  I hope you enjoy it.

I have made a couple of cards today with my scraps (although calling them scraps makes them sound like they are rubbish .. when clearly they aren't .. .. otherwise we wouldn't be able to make something lovely from them would we.  Perhaps I should think of another name for them LOL!!):

The above used:

Scrap papers, card and ribbon
Sentiment:  Lili Of The Valley

Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Flower Buds from the stash box

This one used:

Sentiment:  Elzybells
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Swiss Dots
Shapeabilities:  Doodle Parts
Martha Stewart Punch:  Traditional Scallop
Sizzix Die:  Tattered Florals
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Distress Ink pad:  Frayed Burlap
Brads from the Stash Box
All Card, Paper and Ribbon from the Scrap Piles

I am really pleased with the flowers on this last one as they were actually made out of an old yellow envelope that had made its way into my scrap drawers for some reason.  I distressed it with distress ink and ran it through a cuttlebug embossing folder.

It has been a brilliant week for finding new things to do with scrap.  Most being courtesy of my lovely blog buddy Annmaree who is becoming a real scrap star!!!

She has forwarded a couple of links for me to share with you that give great ideas for using up scrap .. .. though I am not sure I have the patience to try everything featured here.

Annmaree also sent a link to a fantastic YouTube video which features a brilliant use of scraps called the "Herringbone Technique".  I had thought of paper weaving and was ready to give that a try .. .. but think this technique is far more exciting and a much more interesting finished look.  See for yourself  here.  You also need to check out Annmaree's blog as she has created her own scrap card today using this technique.  You can find that here.  (Can't wait to give this one a try myself).

Annmaree is turning into quite a scrap use disciple and is always on the look out for ways we can use all our bits up .. .. well done Annmaree .. .. you are doing a great job - thank you from all of us for coming up with such brilliant ideas.

Carole is also becoming an avid "user up of scrap" and she made the most amazing card from her scrap this week.  Such a fantastic idea.  You can be inspired by going here.  Thanks for sharing Carole - very inspirational.

Sally also joined in this week with a brilliant make .. .. she wasn't too sure once she had finished .. .. but I (and my fellow blog buddies who visited) really loved it.  A gorgeous finished look.  See for yourself here.

So I hope you all enjoy the inspiration that all of these wonderful people have provided .. .. ..happy hopping to view all the exciting places.

Just a quick note on yesterday's post.

I have been asked about the Hero Arts sentiment I used and where I got it from .. .. well, I bought my stamp from Hobbycraft at Tamworth in their sale quite a few months ago .. .. but if you do a google search it is still available at other craft shops.

Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

LIFE'S TOO SHORT FOR GLOSSY ACCENTS

Hi Everyone

Yes, my disastrous make of yesterday is now re-vamped and dry .. .. .. but in the process I decided life is too short for glossy accents .. .. well it was today anyway!!  LOL!!

Instead I used multiple layers of clear embossing powder on my flowers as I still didn't have the patience to wait for my glossy accents to dry.

Here is my make:

This used:

Flower and Swirls image:  Stampendous! "SSC668" Flower Swirls
Sentiment:  Hero Arts "H4938" Happy Birthday!
Clear Embossing Powder
Pearl Seed Beads
Glossy Accents
Ribbon from the Stash Box
Glamour Dust

So I am happy enough to share it now .. .. and the pathetic flower I produced last night is well and truly binned!!!  LOL!!

I hope you have all had a lovely Saturday.

I will see you again tomorrow where it will be my Sunday Scrap Week 4.   I wonder what I will make with my scrappy bits tomorrow?!?!?  At the moment your guess is as good as mine.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

MY SHARE ISN'T DRY !!!

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a good day .. .. the weekend is here .. .. yay!!!

Unfortunately the make I was going to share with you today (in fact it is my one and only make) isn't dry .. .. and in an attempt to speed things along a bit I have ruined it!!!  LOL!!

I will have to make amends and hopefully share it with you all tomorrow .. .. but in the meantime a little tip for you all:

Don't try to speed up the drying of your glossy accents with a heat gun .. .. no matter how far away from your work you hold your heat gun!!!

I could tell it was starting to go "pear shaped" but thought .. .. "no carry on" .. ..  it might turn into one of those happy accidents where you end up with something really cool.  The beads might all melt into the glossy accents and the bubbling effect might dry to look amazing .. .. .. nah .. .. it all looks a complete mess LOL!!

Never mind.  Thankfully the bit I was being impatient with is only a small element of the finished card so I can rectify things and hopefully post it tomorrow.

In the meantime I will share a sneaky peek of a treat that is coming your way on Sunday.

My lovely boss Anice .. from Funky Hand .. .. has a slot on Create and Craft this Sunday at 10.00am where you will get to see the fab new CD that is about to be released.  It is truly amazing and can do far more than anything I have seen before.

Here is a little glimpse of one of my samples.  I wonder if it will make its way onto the TV screen .. ..

So what other news do we have at this end?

Well, hubby managed to sleep all through the night .. .. lucky him!!!

I have told him he can have a star on his wall chart now!!

Unfortunately I didn't manage the same .. but I do feel a little better today.  Hopefully it won't be too long before I get a star too.

So why only one make from me today?  Well my laptop is going to have to go to the laptop doctor and I have been busy trying to rescue anything and everything I think I might need as I am expecting it to come back with everything wiped!!  Eeekkk!!

Life in the House of Hearts is nothing if not varied!!

Catch you again tomorrow with my "rescued make".

A LITTLE SHARE

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a good day .. .. hubby and I really felt like it should be Friday today!!  It seems to have been one very long week .. .. must be something to do with all the coughing, spluttering and ailments that are still going on.

Hubby was really excited the other morning though because he had managed 5 hours without waking up for a coughing session.  A bit like being excited when your baby sleeps through for the first time without needing a feed at 3.00am LOL!!!

Hopefully by the weekend we will be back on track .. .. but at the moment I still remain on Ward 2 (aka the spare bedroom)!!

We are both absolutely shattered and this morning my hubby slept through 10 minutes of his alarm buzzing, then 30 minutes of his radio playing only to be woken by his third alarm that he had set "just in case"!!!  Thank goodness he had.  Neither of us had heard either of the first two alarms.

A quick share tonight and if I can stay awake hopefully a bit of a blog hop

Sentiment:  Elzybells
Backing Papers:  Funky Hand CD "Dreams Come True"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads

So that is me.  I am now off to prepare to make a chicken curry in the hope that it clears out some of our tubes!!  LOL!!!

Have a lovely evening everyone.

A LOVELY NEW FIND

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a good day.

Mine turned out much better than I was expecting!!

Yesterday I was working away in my little craft pod when my Cuttlebug C plate gave out an almighty crack whilst being wound through my Cuttlebug.  It has done years of service and has been used nearly every day since I got the machine .. .. but for some reason I never, ever expected to have to replace this plate.  The B plates are quite often replaced .. .. but never the C plate.  So panic!!  Jules has no spare!!

So a quick search on the internet threw up a place where the prices were good (I ordered C and B plates whilst I was at it) and free delivery too!!!  Champion!!

So I threw the plates into my basket and also noticed a section for the Marianne D Range of craft products.  My little crafting friend Helen had a gorgeous snowflake stencil from this lady so I thought I would have a little wander through that section too and see what else was available .. .. and I came across some gorgeous little stamps.

This is one I decided "needed" to go into my basket .. .. .. how cute is this?!?!?!?

So two cards .. .. one for the boys and one for the girls LOL!!!

These used:

Image:  Marianne Design "CO9607"
Backing Papers:  For the Girl card:  Pink Petticoat - for the Boy card:  Aimee Asher
Sentiment:  Computer generated

Nestabilities: Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles LargeWoodware Punches:  Daisy
Sizzix Die:  #7 Buttons
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Stampendous!:  Fun Flock
Diamond Stickles

ProMarkers
Ribbon and Wool from the Stash Box

I think that ewe looks so cute and snuggly in that lovely jumper!!

So as you can tell my delivery landed with me very quickly.  What great service.  Thank you Cutting Edge Crafts!!!  (not sure whether I should mention or not that there is a great sale on over there at the mo!!!).

I really thought that because the prices were so good, and my postage was free, I would be waiting for a good few days for my package to arrive when in reality I ordered mid-afternoon yesterday and my goodies were with me this morning.  Woo hoo!!!

No having to nurse my poorly C Plate any longer .. .. .. just look at the poor little fella .. .. he has made it through the day though  .. .. .. .. just!!!  LOL!!!

Have a good evening everyone.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well.

We are still coughing and spluttering at this end .. .. ..  and are looking forward to spending a night where we both stay asleep for the whole duration!!

Today's share is an anniversary card and my first attempt at making some little swirly roses.  I quite like them.  There is a little tutorial here that shows you how to make them .. .. but I started off with a punched out circle of paper and didn't bother doing any of the drawing malarky.

Here is my make

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1301K"Hedgehog Kisses
Sentiment:  Funky Hand Clear Stamps "Love N That"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat
Martha Stewart Punches:  Traditional Scallop and Frond
Woodware Punch:  used to cut circles for the flowers
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon from the Stash Box

I am hoping for a good blog hopping session tonight once dinner is over and done with .. .. .. which reminds me .. .. get in that kitchen woman!!!  There is work to do!!!

Have a lovely evening everyone.

SUNDAY SCRAP DAY 3

Hi Everyone

Well here I am again on my personal mission to get rid of the scrap that haunts my craft pod.

Already I am on Scrap Sunday number 3 .. .. but have decided that I really need to think much more seriously about how I am going to cut down on all this scrap.  One pathetic card on a Sunday isn't going to make much of a hole is it?

After all .. .. over the course of the week I make even more scrap!!  LOL!!!

That said though I am now finding that even in the week I reach for my scrap drawers much more frequently than I used to .. .. so that can only be a good thing.

So what have I come up with this week?

Well this week I am going for more than one creation (which is a good start).

First of all here is a card I have made

This used:

The compulsory scrap papers
Woodware Punch:  ? Postage Stamp, Circle and Small Label
Sizzix Die:  "655217" Decorative Accent, Swirl
Shapeabilities:  Nested Flower (borrowed from my lovely Sis xx)

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder: Distressed Stripes
Scrap ribbon

Next I decided to start a stock of ready made flower embellishments.  There is a good chance I would dip into a box to find a suitable flower during the course of the week (plus I do love making them)  LOL!!!  So here is my starter .. .. (and more scrap used up than previous weeks).

To make these I used the Sheapeabilites Nested Flower dies again and a woodware circle punch.

I went around the edge of the flowers with an ink pad to colour the edges and then sprayed them all with water and screwed them up.  I carefully then opened them all out again and fastened the various layers together with a brad.

I again screwed them up a bit and then sprayed then with Antique Brass Glimmer Mist.

I dried them with my heat gun, which makes them all knarl up even more.  The Glimmer Mist isn't showing too well on the paper .. .. but has given a great look to the brads don't you think?

So who else has been inspired by my scrap mission this week .. .. .. ..

My lovely blog buddy Nicola (or Nicky) took part in the scrap challenge too last week and created a lovely card and tag for using up her scrap papers.  In fact she even re-cycled wrapping paper from her birthday in November .. .. which I feel should warrant an extra point!!  Well done Nicky and thank you for sharing with us all.  Nicky's lovely creation can be seen here.

Another lovely blog buddy Carole also played along.  She took my scrap challenge and linked it with the Mojo Monday challenge .. .. what an honour!!!  Here is what Carole created ...  .. how wonderful is this?  (Of course I found the heart no problem LOL!!).

Cynthia wrote to say that she stores all of her scraps in an "accordian file" .. .. similar to what you might use to keep those nasty bills in!! I thought that was a good idea  -  though I personally have a way to go before I could fit my scrap into one of those .. .. .. shame on me!!!  (But I am doing something about it !!).

Thank you ladies for getting in touch and letting me know what you have been doing with your scrap and how you have been storing it.  Always open to ideas as to what I can do with mine.

................ and lastly.   Sorry everyone .. .. I am not allowed to reveal my Penny Black at Allsorts personal prize winner until tomorrow at 8.00am.  The rules were set so long ago I forgot and in my excitement I thought I could tell you today .. .. doh!!  What am I like?

So set your alarms for 7.45am .. .. my post is scheduled for bang on 8.00am.

Have a great evening everyone.

PENNY BLACK AT ALLSORTS BLOG HOP

Hi Everyone

THE BLOG HOP HAS NOW FINISHED - I HOPE YOU HAD FUN IF YOU PLAYED ALONG.           Love Jules xx

Well this is going to be one very long post today because it is going to cover the Penny Black at Allsorts blog hop and the new look Funky Hand challenge.

So firstly, are you visiting me to take part in the Penny Black at Allsorts Blog hop? .. .. .. if so then you will have arrived here from my lovely teamie Tracy.

If you are not part of the hop .. .. but would like to be .. .. then you need to start at the very beginning which means visiting the Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge blog, leaving a comment there, and then start hopping to wherever you are directed to go in order to collect letters for re-arranging into the grid below.

_ _ _ A _       _ _ _ _ _ S

You will be collecting nine letters in total .. .. from nine blogs .. .. .. and re-arranging them to make two words (you have been given two letters in order to help you on your way - aren't we kind!!!).

Once you have collected all your letters, simply decided what the two words are, and then email your answer over to Brenda at .. .. .. brenda@ibas.co.uk  .. .. .. where there is another prize at the end for one lucky winner who gets the two words correct.  Oh it is like Christmas all over again don't you think?

Each of the nine blogs you are visiting has their own individual prize and to be in with a chance of winning those prizes you simply need to leave a comment on each person's blog.

So what is the prize you can win from my blog?

Well my card gives you a good idea

You can win this lovely Penny Black image (but you get a brand spanking new stamp of your own .. ..  no way are you having mine as I love it too much LOL!!!) .. .. .. and also my lovely boss Anice  from Funky Hand has kindly donated for the winner a copy of the "Colour Me Happy" Papercraft Factory CD

The papers on my card have been taken from the CD just to give you a little taster of what you could win.  This is the most recent Funky Hand CD (but a new one is going to be released soon so watch this space!!)

So it is a double whammy from me .. ..

A Penny Black Stamp .. .. .. "3964H" My Little Cupcake

and a Funky Hand Papercraft Factory CD

So if you would like to win my prizes .. .. simply leave me a comment using Mr Linky at the end of this almighty post.  The closing date is midnight on Saturday, 22nd January.

But what letter should you be picking up from me?  Well before I tell you that I need to tell you about some exciting changes for the Funky Hand challenge  .. ..  Get Funky.

We have now moved the challenge so that it starts on the 15th of each month .. .. .. otherwise known as the "Funky Fifteenth".

But you don't get to see all of our creations in one go .. .. we are spreading them out over the course of the month .. .. so every few days you will see another creation to inspire you .. .. .. along with the odd crafting tip and tutorial thrown in for good measure.

The hostess with the mostest  for our first new look challenge is my great teamie Allison.  She is kicking things off over at Get Funky! today so I hope you have chance to pop over there too and perhaps take part in the challenge this month which has the theme "going round in circles".

Below is a card I have made to celebrate the launch of our new challenge and to show off the freebie download that Anice has made available (so there is no excuse for not joining in).  The freebie is the background paper with the large circles .. .. .. the smaller dottie paper is from the Colour Me Happy CD which you can win above.

These papers have been given a bit of distressing around the edges with Barn Door distress ink .. .. .. and as you can see there are lots of circles going on for me .. .. even the flower was made from circles of paper and vellum that have been wet, scrunched up, and dried with a heat gun.

I hope you decide to Get Funky! as well as blog hop!! LOL!!.

So after all of that .. .. back to the blog hop .. .. .. the letter you need from me is the letter "T" (and probably a "cup of tea" too after all of that).

So where do you go to next?   Well you need to go and visit my lovely teamie Mervi and see what clue she has for you.

Have a lovely day everyone and happy hopping!!

Don't forget to link with Mr Linky below if you would like to be in with a chance of winning my prizes .. .. .. a winner will be randomly generated from the Mr Linky entrants and  announced on Sunday 23rd January.

QUICK SHARE AND A LAUGH !!

Hi Everyone

Just a very quick share tonight and a laugh at my expense!!

As reported last night hubby and I are currently living in the "House of Germs".

Well last night I decided that in order for us to at least get some sleep I would spend the night in the spare bed .. .. wow!!! ... what a beautiful night's sleep I had.  I woke up so refreshed it was unbelievable.

When hubby got up he walked past the spare room to get to the bathroom.  He looked at the unmade bed and laughed saying "Oh .. .. you stayed on Ward 2 last night did you?"  LOL!!

Anyway, we managed to get appointments with a doctor today.  Hubby has been given some antibiotics and me .. .. well .. .. I have managed to get shingles!!!  Lucky me!!

I noticed a few little spots towards the beginning of the week and mistakenly took them for insect bites.  I had managed to dry some washing outside and assumed that a little "biter" must have nestled into my bra!!!  You wouldn't believe the amount of bite cream I have been plastering on myelf LOL!!!

By last night these spots were spreading and had begun to hurt .. .. which I decided couldn't be right .. ..  now I know why.  But of course now I have left them too long for any medication to stop them multiplying so I will just have to see how I go.

Anyway, just a quick share today .. .. very simple and straightforward .. but one I like.  I love this image and I also love sentiment background paper.  So the two go together perfectly for me.

OK .. .. that is me for today.

I will be back tomorrow with my Penny Black at Allsorts Blog Hop winner (don't worry I'm not posting anything out .. .. prizes will come to the lucky winner via Brenda - our challenge leader and Anice my Funky Hand boss .. .. so you won't need to worry about catching any germs from the House of Hearts!!).

Plus it will also be week 3 on my own personal challenge to banish my scrap.  So only scrap paper in use tomorrow .. .. wonder what I will make??!?!?  Even I don't know yet LOL!!!

Have a lovely evening everyone.. .. .. .. think I might sleep on Ward 2 again tonight.  I fancy another good night's kip!!  LOL!!!

See you tomorrow

COUGH, COUGH!!!

Hi Everyone

Well the House of Hearts is a House of Germs at the mo!!

Those lovely germs that my hubby was trying so hard not to share with me have decided to rear their ugly heads again .. .. so hubby is battling with them again .. .. ..  and now I have then too!!  I didn't need them!!!  He didn't have to share!!!

What a pair we are.  Cough, cough, cough .. .. so much coughing going on that our muscles and sides hurt!!

Oh well, hopefully it will be shorted lived.  Thankfully the weekend is here for hubby to stay in the warm (he must feel mega rough as he has given his football ticket away for someone else to use .. .. and it is the match of the season!!!).

Tonight he needed to take a detour home as there had been a bad accident on the dual carriageway .. .. .. only for him to call me to say he had got a puncture and someone would be with him in 45 mins!!!  By the time he got home he was well frozen and not a happy chappie at all!!

So I came to the rescue with a mug of hot tea and ran a bath for him .. .. hope he doesn't expect any more spoiling .. . that is enough to be going on with LOL!!

Today's share is just a quick make I'm afraid

This used:

Tomorrow is the last day of the blog hop for Penny Black at Allsorts.  If you haven't had a "hop" yet then you are running out of time!!!  If you want to play .. .. but haven't .. .. then your start from here and there is still time to enter the challenge too.

Also over at Get Funky! today it is the turn of my lovely teamie Loopy Lou to share her lovely creation for the "Going Round in Circles" challenge.  You can find Lou's lovely make here.

Well, hopefully over the course of the weekend I will have chance to catch up with some of the lovely creations my blog buddies have been making over the course of this week whilst I have been away.

I have been really good and stayed away from blogland in order to get on top of my orders and DT work .. .. nearly there .. .. but not completely.  Oohhh it has been so hard not to click about the place seeing what everyone has been up to LOL!!!.

Have a good evening everyone.

AND YET ANOTHER VALENTINE!!

Hi Everyone

Here I am again with yet another valentine make.

This time a little different from my norm.

I was sent a stamp collection by Anice from Funky Hand to have a play with .. .. and this might sound very strange but I absolutely adore the sentiments in the set (I love the images too .. ..  but the sentiments are just so lovely and chunky .. .).

Anyway, I decided to have a go at making my very first shaker card using the sentiments and this is what I came up with.

This used:

Sentiments:  Funky Hand  Clear Stamp Set "Love N That"
Backing Paper:  Funky Hand Download "Salt and Pepper"
Nestabilties:  Heart Die
Martha Stewart:  Valentine Lace
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Ribbon from the Stash Box

So there is my share for today.  Hopefully tomorrow you might get a break from Valentine makes and see something different .. .. but I can't promise LOL!!!!

Have a lovely evening.

Mine is going to be spent putting inserts into a huge pile of creations.

YET ANOTHER VALENTINE

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well.  It seems ages since I posted last and yet it was only yesterday morning LOL!!!

I am well into Valentine mode at the moment but am still chasing my tail .. .. .. so sadly I am not getting any blog hopping in!!  Still at least that means I am busy.

A much simpler Valentine share today

This used:

Image:  Stampendous! "V143" Ornate Heart
Sentiment:  Magnolia "Be My Valentine"
Backing Paper:  Papermania "Rose Garden"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Ribbons and flowers from the Stash Box

The heart has been stamped in black versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that there is a nice sheen on it .. .. but sadly the camera hasn't been able to pick this up.

Right .. back to it .. ..  lots more I need to do before I can give in for the day .. .. no rest for the wicked!!!  LOL!!!

GET FUNKY! - GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES

Good morning all!!!

I am bright and early today as promised.

Today it is my turn to post over at the new look Get Funky! Challenge where this month we are following Allison's theme of "Going Round in Circles".

I made a circular easel card for my interpretation of the challenge.

This used:

Image and sentiment:  Funky Hand "Our Betty .. Love 'N' That" Stamp Set
Backing Papers:  Funky Hand Download "Hearts and Flowers"
Nestabilities:  Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Leone Em Pty Punch: "CP30" Ash Branch
Ribbon, Button, Cord and Gems from the Stash Box

The flower on my creation is actually provided for you on the download .. .. it is just a case of cutting round the outline of the flowers and layering them up .. .. a lovely finished look don't you think?  There are more flowers on the download .. .. these are just the three I decided to use.

The hearts are part of the stamp set and I have paper pieced these with the Hearts and Flowers download.

If you pop over to Get Funky! you will see that I have also posted a tutorial on how I made my easel card .. .. .. hope you find it useful.

I also hope that you might get chance to join in the challenge - you do need to use one Funky Hand product on your creation .. .. be this paper, digi image or stamped image .. .. but if you don't have any at the moment then Anice has provided a freebie paper for you to download and use.  My Get Funky! post will direct you to it.

We have changed how the challenge looks over at Get Funky now and the Funkettes each post throughout the  month on different days so that the inspiration is on-going.  Great idea don't you think?  My lovely teamie Lou will be the next one to be posting on Friday.

Have a brilliant Tuesday everyone.

Love
