A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

Hi Everyone

I hope your day has gone well for you .. .. very windy here!

Sorry for the "no show" yesterday.  It was a very exciting day here in the House of Hearts .. .. .. we actually got to spend time with our youngest son for the first time since before lock-down.  As he lives alone we have been able to form a "bubble" with him.

It was so great to be in his company again.  We have done lots of facetime sessions and talking on the phone but being able to actually be together felt like such a real treat.  I even managed to persuade him to sleep over.

But sleeping over needed me to clear up some of the wedding room.  I have been spending time sorting that room out and there was stuff everywhere!

I let my wedding website expire this month and won't be taking on any new couples .. ..  I will just be working with those couples who are already on my books .. .. some of which can't can't get married until this time next year.

But a lot of the samples I have in my collection will slowly be making their way to the shredder, and I can now share them here.  Any information on the wedding work I post to my blog have been made up - they will just be samples I have made to take to wedding fayres or show interested couples.

Here are some place names that I have made lots, and lots of times.  The inside holds a lottery ticket which acts as a favour and some couples would add a menu card and others a card with the guests actual menu choices.

I have made more of this style of place name than any other, varying the decoration and the wording on the front and inside.  I will show you some other styles as they come to the top of the pile.

So that is me for today.

I will catch you again tomorrow.

Lovely to see some of your wedding work. Raining here today and actually feeling chilly but I'd rather that then feeling too hot - easy to put on an extra layer.

A lovely place card and a great idea to add a little favour to the inside. Do you think you're going to miss your wedding work or do you have lots of things to do now Mr Heart has retired?

so classy and very personal and special. It's sad you are stopping your Wedding business, is it the covid situation or do you just fancy a break? Glad you enjoyed seeing your son . Mine has been home on lock down with me since March , he started a new job on Monday after being made redundant because of the corona virus, my hubby went back to work today after a 2 week holiday , so I'm back on my own today and happy in my craft room.
take care Jane x

How wonderful that you and Mr. Heart got to be with your youngest son in person!!! Let's face it, Face Time and Zoom isn't the same as being able to touch and hug and all that! Glad you talked him into spending the night as well, I bet it was a huge treat! I'm so thankful that Bret is still living at home, but I know a time will come when he is not here. sigh Still he needs to be able to live his life! I am so loving your wedding samples here, they are so pretty. I get excited to see what people are doing in their wedding invites and such. Don't know why, I just love seeing them. lol Yes, I'm weird! It's so fun to have a lottery ticket in there too. Cool idea! Hugs, Brenda

How lovely to have your son to stay over, the face time is great, but nothing like the real thing, Kate x
