My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WEDDING WORK

Hi Everyone

I hope your week has got off to a good start.

Today has been pretty busy here with no blog playtime .. .. so I thought I would share a few more wedding samples .. .. before they are gone for ever.

Some of the fun of doing wedding work is that it brings colours into the equation that you may not choose to use on a normal day to day basis.

When I started my little wedding business the colour green was definitely not one that was very high up my favourite colour list and has never really got much of a "look in" anywhere in my life.  But after working on quite a few green weddings, and loving the end results, I started to see the colour in a different. light .. .. .. and the same has happened with other colours too.

Green has definitely climbed the likeability ladder and I am finding myself using it more and more .. .. ..  I am even considering it for one of our rooms teamed with a silver grey .. .. when we finally get around to starting some of that decorating.

The wedding samples below were gorgeous .. .. .. with this now being my favourite shade of green.

This top picture shows a table name that is sometimes displayed as a double sided tent-fold card that stands directly on the table, or it would be a flat double sided multi-layered card that would fit into a holder.

The picture below doesn't show it too well but the green of the design paper is pearlised with the black being flocked.

Anyway, that is me for today, with more samples making their way to the recycling box .. .. but not until I have rescued some of the beautiful parts off them.

There are some other samples further down the box that used this combination, I wonder when they will get to the top of the pile?

Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in a bit of playtime tomorrow and come up with a teeny tiny make.  Not much to ask is it?.

As you say an unusual but beautiful colour combination, the green is balanced with the black and looks stunning,

Lovely work. I've heard it said that green is unlucky although I can't see that's possible considering it is the colour of nature.

I must say Green isn't a colour you would associate with weddings...but the green and black together look stunning....
Have good day..

Not a colour I would have chosen either Jules, but this is gorgeous and goes so well with the black.

I don't think there is a color I don't like Jules, as I just love color. These wedding makes are just stunning! I can imagine how beautifully stunning they are in person with the flocking. Amazing and I can see why you are so sought after in the wedding business and are always to busy! Hugs, Brenda
