PENNY BLACK AT ALLSORTS AND GET FUNKY! FOR SEPTEMBER

Good morning everyone

Well here I am as promised .. .. .. bright and early. (Happy September everyone). Prepare for a post and a half!!!!

An exciting day for me as today I am sharing my very first DT creation for the Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge blog.

This is like a dream come true because as you regular visitors will know only too well .. .. .. I lurve my Penny Blacks to pieces!!!! It is also going to be lovely to work alongside my old teamies again.

Oh I am so excited .. .. I will now be able to come and visit lots of fellow Penny Black lovers and see what you have done with your gorgeous stash too. Can't wait!!

The challenge for September is to "Punch Away" !!! You can go a bit mad with your punches (like me) or you can be more discrete and perhaps just punch a single flower .. .. but you need to be seen to have used a punch somewhere on your creation.

Here is my inspiration piece

This used:

Image: Penny Black "4054K" Gentlest Kiss
Sentiment: Penny Black "3459D" Wrap a Hug (I just used part of the sentiment)
Backing Papers: Cuddly Buddly
Martha Stewart Punches: Embossed Zig Zag and Frond
X-Cut Punches: Flowers
Small Circle punch for making card candy
ProMarkers
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon from the stash box

I hope you will find some time to play along with the challenge during September. Please pop over and see what my lovely fellow DT members have been up to and to see the fantastic prizes that are on offer. Oh dear .. .. .. too many gorgeous new Penny Black stamps out there!!!

You will find everything you need to know here. So have a read and then "Punch Away" (great for using up the scrap bits too).

Today is also the launch of the September challenge for Get Funky! - what a busy day on my blog!!

Our theme this week was set by my fab teamie, and flower lover, Kathy - and she would like to see some flowers on our creations - but not just little flat things .. .. .. she wants them to be 3D!!

There is some awesome inspiration from my fellow team mates .. .. make sure you go over and have a look .. .. and once you have looked then why not read the rules and then take part. The more the merrier and there is a fantastic £20 voucher to spend in the Funky Store on offer.

Oh I struggled with this one as I wasn't sure what type of flower to do? LOL!!! (I am fibbing of course .. .. .. those wonderful Tattered Florals came to my rescue).

Here is my inspiration
