DAISY - ALL STITCHED UP

Hi Everyone

Sorry, I am a little late tonight.

We have been round to see some friends who have a young son with a birthday tomorrow .. .. so a card and present needed to be delivered to him ready for the morning. 

Such a shame he is going to have to open his presents and then be taken off to school  :-(  I think it should be a rule that you shouldn't have to go to school or to work if it is your birthday (I wonder if I wrote to the Prime Minister if he would agree?   I somehow think not!!  LOL!!!).

Anyway, we are back home now and time for a quick share

My sewing machine is still out at the moment so I decided I needed to make a bit more use of it!

    Beautiful card Jules, the stitching looks fab and I think Daisy is still one of my very favourite stamps.
    I always made it a rule not to work on my Birthday!

    This is gorgeous, Jules! I am not a big fan of cute but I do love this stamp. A day off for birthdays?! We have just been told that we are not allowed snow days any more and will have to make up the time elsewhere if we do close the school!

    yes you shouldn`t have to wrok or go to school on your birthday.i nornally book my birthday week off work but couldn`t get it this year, have managed to get the day off though :D

    This is so pretty - love the backing papers.

    I never went to school on my birthday after the age of 8 when I was given the bumps and hurt my back on the concrete playground, so I was allowed to stay home on my birthday from then on. I've carried the tradition on into work and have never worked on my birthday yet - if you can't have a holiday on your birthday then its not special :-)

    Birthdays should definitely be a holiday. In our family DD was born on May day so she is on holiday regularly for hers and Hubby's falls in Spring Bank week so he is off for his. Mine is the end of January and not a holiday in sight!!
    Get the violins out!!!!!!
    Your card is so pretty. I love that little girl, she looks totally lost in thought.

    So very beautiful Jules, that is one of my most favourite SN images, in fact I was looking at the stamp today wondering if I should use it or not, I chose Tilda in the end, lol. The colouring is superb so is the colour, I love it.
