GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday.

I hope your week has been good so far!

Mine has been super productive on the old wedding front .. .. quite a few jobs crossed off the old list .. .. and quite a few new ones added too !!  I would be lost without my lists and diary!!

Just a quick share today to let you know I am still in the land of the living:

This used:

Backing paper that has stayed in a drawer for far too long.  There are only so many times you can stroke a piece of paper before it deserves to be used and loved by someone else.
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using font "Scriptina"
Spellbinder Nestabilities:  Classic Heart and Classic Squares Large
My Trusty Sewing Machine (I didn't do all the stitching on the background paper it came like that).
X-Cut Butterfly Punch .. .. used on card and then on patterned vellum
Glamour Dust Gold.  It is the first time I have used this .. .. not sure if I like it!  I much prefer the Crystal one
Eyelet, Gems, Ribbon and Cord from my stash box

and that is it.

Have you all been baking in the heat today?  I ended up closing the windows and drawing some of the curtains to keep the heat out!  It was cooler inside than the air that was coming in!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening and I'll catch you again soon.

Nearly the weekend AGAIN!!!

Love

  2. So I'm not the only one who strokes paper?? LOL!!! I just did that today with a cut-to-death snippet of BasicGrey!!!! I LOVE that paper!!! LOL!!!

I'm so glad you've managed to let this one leave the nest, though. This card is a stunner!! The butterflies are the perfect addition. Love the creamy, dreamy colors too!

  9. Hi Jules, fabulous card as always.
I'm so glad you clarified the sewing thing, I can't imagine how tedious it would've been sewing around all those curves.

btw, I finally managed to sell my expensive white elephant machine, now someone else can appreciate it better than me lol.

    Cheers,
    Elaine

  32. Yay I found someone who agrees with me - what is the point in keeping this beautiful paper if no one else gets to see how beautiful it is or the beautiful creation you have made using it.
I love this card and your paper makes it so classy and elegant - in fact a 'boutique' card - so beautiful hugs Karen
