DRAGONFLY VINE

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all keeping safe and aren't running out of any supplies.

Today was one of the days when I needed to leave home to sort out Mum and also my Auntie who had her knee replacement mid February.  I think we are nearing the end of the compression stockings for my Auntie now and putting them on has become easier over the weeks .. .. but I am still nowhere near being "proficient" .. .. but the procedure does give us lots of reasons to laugh which is a much needed thing these days.

With no wedding work to pull in at the moment I am trying to get back into the habit of posting to my blog each day.  I do miss blogland when things are busy.

This is my favourite creation for today .. .. ..

This used:

Images:  Stampendous! CRP119 - Dragonfly Vine
and Elusive - Script Background
Gold Embossing Powder
Distress Inks - Bundled Sage, Crushed Olive, Shabby Shutters and Pumice Stone
Tea Green ProMarker
Crystal Glamour Dust

So that is me.

Hoping to catch you again tomorrow but in the meantime take care and stay safe.

  3. Jules, this is a gorgeous card. It reminds me of the dragonflies that used to lay their eggs in my pond. Great detail.

  13. Oh this is super, what a great card, I love the pretty embossing round the edge. Ohh golly we had such a laugh with compression stockings last year. my Ex Hub had a wee surgery and needed them on. His mum couldnt manage to get them on him so I (having been a midwife, and they thought good at popping them on, err not so good these days) had to do it. We were all giggling lots, poor Alan with his stitches! Hope alls well with you and yours, Hazelx

  14. This is really lovely Jules. The embossed edge really does make it special. Compression hosiery, by their very nature, are difficult even for nurses to put on patients. We order contraptions for our patients to help but you need muscles like popeye to stretch the blooming things over the aid anyway!! Hopefully Auntie won't need them for too much longer!! Keep well xx
