Hi Everyone
A super, duper quick post from me today (what do you mean .. .. that will make a change LOL!!).
I am out to celebrate the birthday of the gentleman I iced yesterday's cake for. Oh dear!!! Not sure I will be able to look him (or the other guests) in the face as his cake makes an appearance. My camera will be going with me. Who knows I might take a picture and share it .. .. but then again I might not!!.
In the meantime I will simply share a card (at least I am proud of this)
This used:
Backing Paper: Aimee Asher
Image: Hero Arts "S5316" Silhouette Grass
Sentiment: Papermania "Stamping for Him"
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Ribbon from the Stash Box
and that is it!!
Time for me to go and make myself look beautiful.
Catch you tomorrow
Love

ReplyDeleteWow, Jules! This card is striking in it's simplicity Such a clever idea to stamp the image on paper with the stripes going both ways before mounting them up. Did you make two cards? One with the horizontal as the background and one with the vertical? I'm always trying to economise with my papers.
ReplyDeleteI must tell you that I was reading your post so quickly that at first I thought you were going out with the gentleman you iced yesterday! My eyes had already moved to the next line before is saw the bit about the cake! Hugs, Lesley

Jules I love this card. So much nicer than the one I just finished making for a SCS challenge. Though I admit it kind of makes me happy that I made it then come here to find you had the same idea. Gives me hope that I might someday make cards as gorgeous as yours!!! I'll post it tomorrow; for now I'm off to bed before exhaustion sends me crashing to the floor. LOL.
