JULES' CRAFTY SNIPPET CHALLENGE - WEEK 13

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday and more importantly "Happy Mother's Day" to all you lovely Mums out there.  I hope something special has been done for you today in appreciation of all the hard work and effort every Mum puts into the family and home.

If it is a sad day for you because you no longer have your Mum then I hope today isn't too painful for you .. .. try to think of some happy times and special things you did with your Mum and take comfort in them .. .. and have a cyber hug from me.

Mothering Sunday for me means getting to my Mum ahead of my big Bro taking her to his house for dinner and also a trip to the cemetery as sadly my Mum-in-Law is no longer with us.  So the snippets are a little basic today as I haven't had quite so much time to play.

My youngest Son has come round for the day and we are having a Chinese takeaway for dinner this evening.  No firing up the cooker today!!

So I should be able to get lots of blog visiting in today once this is posted.  Woo hoo!!

But first round to my challenge and shares for the day.

Week 13 already!!!  13 ... .. unlucky for some?  Nah!!  Lucky for me because my great blog buddy Annmaree has found a fantastic video for using up snippets .. ... and I just had to try it out.  Not quite as easy as I thought and on reflection I wouldn't have used the striped paper but hey ho .. . you live and learn.

Here are all my makes  .. ..   not sure which is my favourite this week.

Can you believe the ribbon on this next one has been kicking around in my ribbon drawer for weeks already tied and everything .. .. I am really glad it has been used up!!!

The following two pictures have been edited .. .. the little silver heart wasn't stuck down .. .. you find they fall off if you don't put the soldering iron on them!!  Well spotted that it was missing Katina!!

This one was a bit of a pain to photograph but I think you get the general idea from what I have managed to post.. ..

As before I am not going to include everything I used as the list gets endless but if there is anything anyone wants to know about anything then just ask away.

Two players joined in this week.  Annmaree twice (xx) here and here and then my lovely blog buddy Carole (xx) .. .. who is going through a hard time at the mo and needs a big of cyber love.

I hope you get chance to visit both of these willing snippetiers.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday folks.  I hope you have managed to avoid the April showers .. .. we are having rain and thunder at the moment!!!

I have a great way of using up my snippets next week.  My little crafty buddy Helen is coming to stay for the weekend so they should get a good hammering!!! LOL!!!

Love

  3. WOW - you sure do make some beautiful snippets cards Jules. The first one is my fave.

I meant to join in last week and then never managed to make a card for it. Will definitely have to try HARDER on a Sunday . . . although I do check out my snippets whenever I make a card - to see if there's anything useful to use up!

    Hugs, Sandra

  4. Lovely as always Jules. I wish I could make that many beautiful cards in one sitting/day. I'm lucky if I can push out three decent cards a week!! LOL

I admire your talent and appreciate you sharing it.

Thank you for your kinds words on my blog. I would have loved to attend the NEC (Which I'm guessing is a crafters show); I probably would have had to leave clothes behind in order to stuff everything I bought in my suit case. (Believe me when I say I have done that the last two times I was in London).

    Hugs to you.
