RACING TED

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a lovely Saturday and the weather has been beautiful. 

I am particularly hoping it has been warm and sunny for my lovely blog buddy Lesley as her daughter was getting married today.  I really do hope it has been a beautiful and magical day.  I am sure it will be perfect though whatever the weather after all the planning and hard work that has gone into arranging everything.

But no weddings for me today :-(

We gardened, bathed, ate, did a bit of food shopping and now home to post a card here and then we are meeting up with friends for a Chinese.  I think I will sleep tonight!!

    Wonderful card Jules and I just love this image - I've used it loads of times - it's my emergency 'man' card stamp. Couldn't do without it! Love the crackle background too.

    Wow that backing papers is gorgeous! The blue/brown one almost looks like fabric especially with your stitching. Must look out for some :0)

    Hi Jules, what a great colour combo & a really super image for a fathers day card. It's beautifully coloured as well. I've bought one pack of white linen cardstock from Papermill online but I really begrudge the p & p. I used to like visiting the shop & choosing from all the different colours that they'd have. Enjoy your chinese.

    Once again Jules, i swear you have more hours in your day than the rest of us. So many cards have been made since last week and all that gardening. Time management never has been one of my good points though! I love this card. The simple layout works so well with the backing paper and the image. xx
