Hi Everyone
What a gorgeous day it has been today .. .. I hope the weather has been beautiful with you all too.
I started the day off with a good watering session in the garden and then we needed to do a bit of "planting out".
Well what was going to be a quick 20 minute job turned into a 3 hour epic .. .. why? Well we somehow managed to stumble across a huge tree root which used to belong to one of the massive conifer trees we had had removed a couple of years ago.
The roots of the other trees seem to be rotting away nicely and we have been able to get them out fairly easily .. but not this one.
It was huge and kept dividing off at angles all over the place. What a job we had on our hands. We managed to remove the vast majority of it but unfortunately in some places simply had to chisel through it as it was disappearing under paths etc. All I can say is thank goodness it was right down the bottom of the garden and nowhere near the house!!! It would have been awful to think those roots were under the house!!!
Anyway, round to my share of the day .. .. ..
This used:
Image: Digistamp Boutique (it is a Valentines image really but I think it works well for an anniversary card)
Sentiment: Computer generated
Backing Paper: Pink Petticoat
Martha Stewart Punch: Frond
Woodware Punches: Daisy
Crystal Stickles
Pearls, ribbon and brad from the Stash Box
Super quick and simple today.. .. .. and if you can't find the heart tonight then all I can say is "You should have gone to Specsavers" LOL!!!
Have a lovely rest of the evening and I will catch you with my snippet makes tomorrow.
Love

What a lovely image, Jules, it makes a great card for any occassion. Don't mention Specsavers in this house, we're fed up with the place. DH ordered a pair of varifocal perscription sunglasses about 3 months ago and he has yet to get them. First the lab smashed the frame and there was no more to be had, so back we went to pick another one. We have been in today to pick them up and low and behold they have fitted ordinary lenses not varifocals!!! Is it really so hard. I was ushered out the shop by an embarrassed DH when I started to boil over, not something that happens often I can assure you. I think I would rather have been digging roots out with you!!
ReplyDeleteHope tomorrow is more relaxing for you. Have a good one.
hugs Lisax
