WHAT A LOVELY DAY

Hi Everyone

I hope that you have all had a wonderful Sunday.

When I hung the washing out this morning I could have sworn I was in Spain!!  Beautiful blue skies and glorious sunshine.

I don't know about you but a summer full of days like today would be just perfect for me.

My day has been spent buying ribbons .. .. I can't believe how good I was.  I walked in with a list of everything I needed and didn't take a single thing extra!!  What a good girl!!  LOL!!

.. .. and then of course there was the cuddling and sniffing of  that lovely new baby to do too.  I love the smell of new babies (unless their nappies don't need changing of course).

I used to work with the baby's Mum a good few years ago and this is her second little boy.

Her eldest boy will be five this year and he was such a well behaved and polite young boy.  Definitely a credit to their Mum and Dad.

So time flew by and it has made for a very quick snippet make today for Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.

You wouldn't believe how many snippets I have of this pale cream card .. .. all left over from wedding work .. .. and of course I can't throw any away!!  I am going to have to find some inventive ways of using it otherwise I will have as many of these as I have white snippets .. ..eeekkk!!!!

As always when I manage to post my snippet make on a Sunday I allow myself to be lazy and not list out what I have used (it is my Sunday treat) .. .. but as always if anyone wants to know what I have used then just ask .. .. I am just being lazy!!!

So time for me to go and get our evening meal finished and served.

Catch you again soon.

Love

  25. Oh wow Jules - this is simply gorgeous! Everything about it is beautiful - and the butterfly is stunning!

I vaguely recall the elastic game - so long as you didn't pinch the elastic from anyone's undergarments :)? Wasn't it called French skipping or something?

Thanks for the sweet comments about the playground :) Di xx

  36. No matter how many bits of cream card you have, I bet I can beat it. My first wedding thing was for our son's wedding and my first cad crafting, really. I forgot that if more than one person lives in a house, they still only get one invitation to that address. So I had double what I needed already. then I always allow a good margin of extra in case of error. Even more card I will not want. I have a large Really Useful box full of pre-folded cards and envelopes to match. I also have enough Thank You peeloffs to stock a couple of shops, not to mention the horse shoes and Wedding Invitation peeloffs. You could be seeing a lot of cream cards on my blog in the near future. Not sure how I can use the peeloffs, though. Any suggestions? Your card today is so pretty, restrained and elegant. thank you for your visit and we did get the van emptied and spread all over the house. We get to return it all tonight when the van comes home again. Oh, joy! Have a good week. xx Maggie
