Hi Everyone
Happy Sunday to you.
Another lovely sunny day .. .. turning a tad chilly now but it has been a really lovely weekend. I even managed a bit of a lie in this morning - woo hoo!!!
I knew the chores of the day were going to take hold very quickly so I played with my snippets first thing whilst my lovely hubby was still in bed doing his farmyard animal impressions. How come snoring never wakes up the person who is doing all the snoring ?????? LOL!!
So although my card was made nice and early I haven't had chance to post until now .. .. but here it is now .. .. my entry for Pixies Crafty Snippet Challenge.
No ingredients list on a Sunday because I allow myself to be lazy .. .. but any questions then just ask away.
This might be my favourite Christmas make for 2012 "so far"!!! But there is a long way to go yet and it might get knocked off its perch!!
We called into a craft store today in my search for a couple of crafty items only to find they had a 20% sale on. But I was well restrained as I am saving my pennies for a splurge I am close to making in the wedding department.
But what I did buy from them was a load of plastic racking they were getting rid of that will store A4 card. They need cleaning up and all the sticky labels taking off but they will be miles better than the falling apart cardboard shelving I am using at the moment.
Can't wait to clean them up and get re-organising .. .. but no time for that today or even this week unless there are a few miracles coming my way.
Before I go .. .. a quick reminder about the Josy Rose giveaway that is on my blog here. Entries close at midnight tomorrow so get your name added if you fancy becoming a "hot fix nail head" junkie like me. The nail heads are so cheap and far less bulky and more attractive than brads any day.
Just look at the selection that is available here .. .. and how many you get for your lovely English pounds!!
By the way I am nothing to do with Josy Rose and not connected to them in any way .. .. .. other than with my little crafty purse. But I know whoever wins this lovely prize will enjoy it. If my hot fix wand was to ever stop working then I would need a new one before the week was out because I use it every day either on my general cards or my wedding work.
Anyway let's not think of bad things happening .. .. like my crafty equipment breaking down .. .. time for me to get in that kitchen and get the evening meal sorted.
Enjoy what is left of the evening.
Love

Hi Jules, you sound perky today :) Your card is lovely - I like the shot of red together with a wee blast of blue - very nice. No problem finding the heart(s) in this one. I so admire your restraint, especially as I have just blown a wee fortune on Bo Bunny papers today, sigh, just couldn't resist them. Elizabeth xx

Ooh - fab card Jues. The sentiment stamp is lovely - font and wording - and who could resist a prancing reindeer. You were lucky to get hold of that shelving - it's all about being in the right place at the right time I suppose.

ReplyDeletePoor you having a snoring hubby; my hubby snored for many years and just about drove me insane at times so he went to a sleep clinic and turns out he has sleep aponea which is dangerous...he now sleeps with a full face mask which pumps oxygen into his system, maybe get it checked out?
Cheers,
Elaine
