Hi Everyone
Friday night .. .. woo hoo!!!
Fish and chip night cooked by my lovely hubby along with mushy peas and potato fritters!!! Mmmmm .... I look forward to Friday night all week (no calories involved because there will be no bread and butter LOL!!).
Just a quick post from me tonight with a card I made whilst trying to get a few last minute Mother's Day cards done. I love this little chappie and thought he would work well to thank a special Mum for all her hard work.
This used:
Image: Trimcraft Celebrations Fizzy Moon "C/S FM Bunch"
Sentiment: Elzybells (sadly no longer trading)
Backing Papers: Pink Petticoat
Nestabilities: Classic Circle Large and Scalloped Circle Large
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
and that is it!!!
I am entering my creation into the Ready Teddy Go Challenge for March .. .. where the theme is "Mum's the Word".
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend.
Off now for a soak in a lovely hot bubbly bath ahead of my lovely Friday night treat! I always was a cheap date!! I cost almost nothing to run you know!! No wonder I was snapped up and married by the time I was 19!!
See you tomorrow at some stage .. .. .. amongst my wedding fayre preparations.
Adorable and so gorgeous Jules.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend.

This is the sweetest mum's card ever, Jules! A total, "Awwww!"
ReplyDelete(I suppose I'll be the only one to comment inappropriately that your last paragraph cracked me up. Because, if a person didn't read the first paragraph about dinner, all that talk about a bubble bath and being a cheap date gives a whole new meaning to "ahead of my Friday night treat!" Tee Hee. You guys rock!!)
Jules your post has made me laugh.....
ReplyDeleteLovely card and love the sweet little bear...

Have a fab weekend!

He is so cute...I love the way the ribbon matches the flower bouquet so perfectly!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute, sweet card!
Well, it's my birthday so must start getting dolled up soon...DH is taking me out for supper.
Hi Jules, gorgeous card - I love the teddy image which is beautifully coloured in. I'm sure you've enjoyed your Friday night treat which sounds delicious - with the exception of the mushy peas. My father had a fish & chip shop when I was growing up and Tuesday night was potato fritter night - his strategy for getting the punters in on what was a 'dead' night - it worked too, he had customers queuing out the door :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful as always Jules! Think I have that lovely stamp of bear avec les fleurs. Such a shame Elzybells closed down, although I did a big raid when I heard they were closing - probably heard from you in fact!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the lovely soak and then fish and chips. We had scampi and chips (ha, just 'cos scampi was on offer) - Len is still reeling from the fact that I dolloped tartar sauce on his plate.......which turned out to be hot horseradish sauce. Really should wear me specs when playing at being Nigella!!! Two gallons of water later.................
Have a lovely weekend!!
Hugs, Di xx
