HAVE I GONE TO LONDON TO VISIT THE QUEEN ?

Hi Everyone

The House of Hearts has temporarily relocated to our capital city .. .. I am having fun in London today with my eldest son and his wife .. .. but there will be no meeting up for tea and cucumber sandwiches with the Queen.

I will be going to see one of my heart throbs from years gone by .. .. .. and I have to admit to still fancying him a bit!!!  LOL!!  (Yes, I am old enough to know better but I just know I will struggle to take my eyes off the lovely Marti Pellow .. .. I hope he will be on stage lots!!!).

I dread to think how many years it is since I saw him in Wet, Wet, Wet !!  Gosh time flies!!!

So no card to share today .. .. I am being a slacker!!!  Shame on me!!!

Have a lovely Saturday everyone.

Love

  10. Hi Jules, I hope you had a lovely time with Marti and didn't drool too much! My favourite is "Love is All Around" and nobody sings it like he does. Pauline xx

  11. Gosh I wondered what had happened to him, My Daughter, next door neighbour and I trekked all the way to Birmingham to see Wet Wet Wet, my Daughter didn't really want to go, but we all loved the concert and next morning he was on a talk show and we couldn't understand a word he was saying, why do the Scots sing in English but talk with a Scottish accent. Lucky you.

  12. Hope you had a fabulous time Jules! I love Evita, it's up there with my favourite musicals. The first time I saw it was a school trip with the original Elaine Paige and one of my heart throbs at the time - David Essex! Carole Z X

  15. Hi Jules, hope you have had a fab day in the ol' Smoke. I saw Wet Wet Wet years (ok decades ago) at Ally Pally in the late 80s and they were fantastic. Marti still has a powerful voice. Enjoy! Hugs, Pauline x

  17. It ok to be a slacker because we all need to recharge our batteries and whenever we can spend time with our adult children we need too!! Enjoy!!!
