ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

Hi Everyone

It looks like it is going to be a lovely day .. .. and a warm one too!!!

One of my brides got married yesterday and I have been emptying out her work boxes this morning :-(   Weird but it always makes me feel a little bit sad when I do that.  Silly really because if I am emptying her box it means her special day has arrived and she will be super happy!!!

Her colour was beautiful sunshine yellow (it must have been a lucky colour because the sunshine definitely made an appearance for her). My share today uses up some of the snippets from her boxes .. .. ..




This used:

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Stylized Flowers

Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Memento Ink:  Dandelion (Rubbed inside my Cuttlebug embossing folder before loading it up with my card)
Flowers and Ribbon 

I used the sketch from over at Sketch Saturday for my make today.  I haven't had chance to join in with this challenge for a while so it was nice to download the sketch for a play .. .. and I am also running over to share in Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge before the playground gates get locked!

    Lovely sunny card Jules. Love the butterfly and adorable flower - perfect with the backing papers.

    Beautiful, beautiful card Jules.

    Love yellow too. I always wonder why not many brides chose it as their wedding colour. We recently went to a wedding here, it had a yellow scheme and was fabulous, especially in the sunshine.

    I would be really lovely to share some of your wedding makes, after the couple have got married of course!

    This card certainly is bright and beautiful Jules, I love the bright yellows and lovely butterfly.

    I'm so pleased that things are going well wedding wise, anyone getting married recently has certainly had some beautiful weather - it was the hottest day of the year when I got married on 30th June many, many years ago.

    So many lovely ideas here..love your take on the sketch, love the colours...your bride chose wisely!

    Love the way you inked the embossing folder. This image is a lovely one and that bow is the crowning touch!

    Sorry I have not been around as often as usual...I do page back and play catch up when I make it by though.

    We are up at the lake again and then come home for 5 days and then ENGLAND! For a month! YAY!
    It has been 6 years since my last visit.I am even going to meet up with Di! Maybe I will get an extra turn on the swings!!! lol
