SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all been having a lovely weekend.

Yesterday was a busy day here and today in comparison started off quite relaxed and chilled .. ..  but it hotted up as the day has progressed.

Sunday is quite often the day that my current happy couples have chance to choose wording and fonts for their stationery, check through proofs and decide on final designs .. .. but it is also the day that "new happy couples" often make an appearance as they have had chance to sit down and do a bit of research and have often pulled out my business card following a visit and chat at a wedding fayre .. .. but what amazes me is that it can have been 12 or 18 months ago and they have kept my card ready for when the time was right for them to start the ball rolling .. .. or as little as two weeks ago as was the case with one caller today.

Certainly lots of work has arrived on the scene during the course of this week!  Lucky, lucky me!!

So all of the happenings of today means it has taken nearly all day to create my two snippet makes for taking over to Pixie's Snippet Playground:

As always on a Sunday I don't list my ingredients but just ask away if you want to know anything and I will try my best to come back to you.

I am not too sure on my Christmas card this week.  I will see what it looks like in the cold light of day tomorrow .. .. but I am pleased that it has used up a piece of material that has been kicking around my craft pod for years!!  At least I have seen the back of that.  It was cut from a panel of fabric that contains lots of Christmas images from Hobbycraft.  I didn't like the way it ballooned up once I have stitched it to a base card so I stitched around the snowman too.  That improved things a little.

I think my main problem is that everything is at a jaunty angle.  I don't cope with things being on an angle very well .. .. really must try and get over that bit of insecurity.   I wonder if there is "jaunty angle therapy" available or whether you just have to feel the pain and work through it!!   LOL!!

So that is me for today.

Catch you again when I do.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Love

  38. I'm sure there is such a thing as jaunty angle therapy because there seems to be a market for everything these days. I like the jaunty angle and the resulting card.

I must know who makes the flowers on the mother's day card. It is vaguely familiar. I just love the way it looks with text printed flowers.
