HAS MR BLOGGER GONE OFF ME?

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday!

I have a super busy day planned today .. .. and just know there will be no time to make my Thursday's child offering .. .. so instead I thought I would try scheduling a post showing some of my favourite makes from this month's Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine (Issue 153) commissions which is currently on sale.

I don't know about your posts but mine are taking an age to appear on the dashboard .. .. so I thought I would schedule one to see if that behaves any differently.

I have posted without pictures, without my fancy signature at the bottom, early, and late .. but nothing seems to make any difference.  Perhaps Mr Blogger has "gone off me".

Anyway .. .. let's try the scheduling option!

So my first share has come from a Papercut Effects Technique Commission.  I just loved the braided effect on the top of the card and the lovely colours.

My second was another Technique Commission entitled Inked Stencilling and my favourite from this collection would have to be this one.  I know it isn't to everyone's taste but I do love to see a bit of black on my cards sometimes!

So that is me for today - I have scheduled this to post at 9.00am.  Let's see if it works.

Love Jules xx

  1. Hi Jules well here I am at 9.25 so scheduling your post worked!

Your cards are both beautiful. I really like the braided top on the first. It reminds me of the lace stencils I used to love using. The second is very lovely. I like black on cards. I really like the effect of the text inside the stencilling. Barbxx

  2. Pretty good going on the scheduled post Jules, I got my email at 9.14 this morning :)!

Thanks for sharing your favourite cards from the mag!

I particularly like the Lacé type cut work on the top of the first one too and I really am liking the pop of black on the second card. Very clever stamping the sentiment through a stencil :)!

  7. Two very pretty cards - did appear today but not sure what time. I've not tried scheduled posts for a while but last time I tried, despite carefully checking times and dates the posts actually appeared straight away rather than when scheduled! I gave up the idea after a few tries but might try again sometime if I can remember how to do it!!

  11. They are both fabulous Jules. The butterflies are so pretty and the lattice is a lovely touch. I must say though, I think the stencil and ink card is gorgeous. Love how you have used the Birthday Wishes.
I think Mr Blogger goes off us all occasionally.
    Hugs Sharon. x

  13. Hi Jules.
Well I agree with you re the sluggish appearance of posts on dashboard, but only noticed it this week when was hunting for my WOYWW post to see if the photo was on it as had fair bit of text before photo, which can push it down so no picture appears, always negative thing no photo to draw a viewer.
So not sure how long its been happening perhaps it is just blogger at the mo.. ie temporary hiccough.
I agree re the clever braiding a great card as it the sponged background on second card.. well done!
Thanks so much for the inspiration.
