Hi Everyone
Happy Thursday!
I hope you are all well and if not that you feel much better soon. A lovely bright, but nippy, start to the day here.
My day once more for posting to the DigiStamp Boutique blog.
My day once more for posting to the DigiStamp Boutique blog.
Today I am sharing two cards that I have made using a new digi release from DigiStamp Boutique called Kokeshi Dolls. There are four images in the set and today I have used two of them (I love the images sooo much .. .. aren't they just the cutest?).
My cards are 11.5cms square. I think this is a great size for creating little notelets.
These used:
Sentiments: DigiStamp Boutique Clear Stamps "With Love" and the "Thinking of You" stamp that is going to be making an appearance in the catalogue very soon.
Backing Papers: First Edition Paper "Floral Fusion"
Nestabilities: Octagons
ProMarkers
White Gel Pen
Black Fineliner Pen
Vellum
Gold Embossing Powder
Gold Embossing Powder
Ribbon, Brads and Ancient gold peel off lines (can't believe they are still so sticky after all these years).
So that is me for today.
Catch you again soon
Awesome images and love your papers just such sweet cards

These are really cute Jules, fabulous layout and lovely papers.
ReplyDeleteOh you have taken me back quite a few years now when Craftwork Cards first brought out their Japanese stamps and we had (still have) a little card making club and at that time we used to, every now and then, have one of us make about 5 cards and then bring all the materials for the rest of the club to make the cards.
It was my turn and on one card I used the Japanese images and one Lady, a really lovely old Lady, totally refuse to make the Japanese card because she was in Japan during the war and would not entertain them in any way whatsoever. It was quite a shock to us all how bitter she was as normally a real gentile Lady, but I suppose if I had been there at the time I would feel the same.
Sorry to have waffled.

Hi from your newest follower, love these so cute
ReplyDeleteOh, what lovely cards with such cute little dolls, and the paper is beautiful ! I just read the comment from the lady who refused to make a Japanese card. I knew a Dutch couple (friends of my mother) who were in a Japanese prison camp, they must have suffered terribly...
ReplyDeleteHave a nice and sunny (but very cold) weekend ! Enny
Jules, these little oriental dolls are just adorable! The gorgeous papers look so good, too!
