WISH BIG

Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday!

I hope you weekend has got off to a good start.

My whole week feels all mixed up because Mr Heart has now dropped down to a three day working week ahead of retiring next year .. .. and I no longer have the foggiest idea what day of the week it is LOL!!  I am sure I will get used to it eventually.

Most of my time this week has been spent making wedding samples for the "happy couples" I met last weekend .. .. .. but today I started with a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  This challenge is always "anything goes" but with an optional theme which this month is "black and white and one other colour".

So here we go with my offering using black, white and yellow

This used:

Images:  Penny Black "3788F" Art of Love and Penny Black "3811J" Winsome
Sentiment:  DigiStamp Boutique (sadly no longer trading .. .. boo hoo!)
Backing Paper:  Pink Petticoat "Gingham"
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Nail Heads
Ribbon
Papermania Dew Drops
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is me for today.

Enjoy your evening and I will catch you again soon.

  4. A fun card Jules, a jolly little bee and fabulous design.
My hubby retired rather suddenly, he was offered redundancy 3 days after his 55th Birthday and after doing the sums he decided to take the redundancy and take his private pension early so all of a sudden he was at home every day, it's brilliant but I never know what day it is!

  5. Oh gosh Jules I just love this card. Your colour choice is brilliant, super images and a great sentiment. I have that little bee stamp and never used it, now I know how to!

I really don't want to put a damper on it for you but it does get worse, once they retire fully. I have come to hate those four little words "I'll come with you" I am using the I'll as one word here. Then of course you go down to one car instead of two

I am telling you all this so can be prepared I hardly drive anymore, "I'll drive" comes the words when ever we are going anywhere.
I am telling you all this so can be prepared.

  9. Such a happy feeling with this card Jules, it's beautiful.

My hubby cut down his days with an aim to retirement, I just got used to having him around two days a week and then he went back full time before finally retiring. That was five years ago now.
