FRIENDSHIP BLOOMS

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday!

I am here with a card I made a couple of weeks or so ago .. .. and now I know it has arrived with it's recipient I can post it here.

It uses a gorgeous stamp that I fell in love with over on the lovely Carole's blog here way back in November 2018.  It finally made it's way into my collection a few weeks ago and I love it!!  I can tell it is going to be one of those stamps that gets lots of use.  Carole added a second flower to her card .. .. something else to try later!  Thank you for the inspiration Carole xxx

So here we go .. .. my first inking of this scrummy stamp:

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  Julie Hickey Designs "SKU: JH1001" Friendship Blooms
Backing Papers:  Wild Rose Studio Papercraft House "PH005" Vintage
Poppy Stamps Die Set:  Stitched Market Tag
Onyx Black Versafine Ink and Clear Embossing Powder
ProMarkers
Heart Punch
Ribbon and Button
My Trusty Sewing Machine

My image panel was stamped in Onyx Black Versafine Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that the ProMarkers didn't interfere with the ink.

So that is me for today.

Time to get a few more crafty jobs crossed off that list before I head off to Mum's.  I think it will be a day for staying in as the weather isn't decent enough for her to want to go out!  It is throwing it down with rain here .. .. so chances are it will be at Mum's end too.

Never mind, we can put the world to rights .. .. again .. .. and I might even get a few images coloured whilst we share a cozy afternoon together.

Enjoy your day everyone .. .. whatever you are doing.

  12. A really lovely stamp, I don't think I have this one and I have quite a few of Julies. A really super background and lovely choice of colours. I used to put buttons in the middle of flowers, don't know why I don't do it anymore, must rectify that. Have a lovely weekend.

  17. A cozy afternoon with your mum sounds lovely to me Jules! We actually have sunshine today, but it is pretty chilly willy out. I am definitely loving your card and that stamp! It is so fun and pretty, a stamp like you said will be well loved. Loving the background inkiness and the scripty paper. And of course the beautiful bow and adorable tiny tag with the heart. I love always looking for where you have placed your hearts! Hugs, Brenda

  19. Hi Jules

Thank you so much for your lovely words and hugs, you brought a tear or two but a smile too at your Mum's serial shredding. That's me!! I looked after all Mum's paperwork so that bit hasn't been too bad, you just don't realise how much of it you have to do.
I hope you had a lovely afternoon with your Mum, treasure her. Those cosy chats are precious.
It's so lovely to catch up with all my crafty friends again, I didn't realise how much I have missed you all.
    Your card is beautiful too.

    Hugs Lisa xx
