Hi Everyone
I hope your weekend has got off to a good start .. .. .. no-doubt we are all sitting with bated breath wondering when our own personal lockdown is going to come into effect. Or will it be another national one?
Many thanks for the lovely comments on my previous post. It really was a lovely card to make.
Tonight's play session created this:
and used:
Image & Matching Dies: A magazine covergift
Sentiment: Digistamp Boutique clear stamp (sadly no longer trading) Boo hoo!
Backing Papers: Craft Sensations "Blackboard"
Memento Dewdrop Ink Pads
Ribbon
Jelly Sticker
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Catch you again tomorrow .. .. all being well.
That looks like a jolly useful magazine freebie and the jazzy background papers are super. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and keep fingers (and everything else) crossed that there isn't another wholesale lockdown with all that would entail.
ReplyDeleteLove the chalkboard papers against the colours of the ribbon and in your stamped topper enjoy the rest of the weekend

Love the gorgeous colours of the lovely images against the black and white background. I put on my post on Saturday that from midnight Monday we are back in lockdown, first time we have had advanced warning. To be honest I am rally starting to get depressed with all this, but it not so much the fact that we are limited to where and what we can do but the fact that there are so many thick and stupid people in our area.
ReplyDeleteI am knocking on the door of 72, at this age you have no idea how long you have left, but I am not going to risk anything that may bring the end of my life earlier than it was to end. I feel extremely lucky anyway as my Mum died at 58 and my Dad died at 68.

Gorgeous card, Jules. The monochrome background is perfect for the lovely image. xx
ReplyDeleteI pray you don't have to go back into a lock down Jules. It's crazy, we just had bikers in a couple of states that gathered in huge groups with no masks. They said if they get it, they get it. It's that attitude that is keeping this virus going and going. Just wear a mask and stay out of large gatherings! Might not mind if they get it, but what about taking it home to others?! Common sense, it can go a long way if you use it! Ok, off my soap box. lol I love your card, the background papers are so pretty and I love your beautiful blooms in the center. A beautiful birthday card for sure! Hugs, Brenda
