Hi Everyone
Hope your weekend got off to a nice start.
A lovely cosy day at home here .. .. and one which I have really enjoyed. Part of it included a crafty session to create another quick and easy Christmas card after my rash decision to make all of my Christmas cards this year.
This is today's offering which is a simple embossed image and a stamped sentiment. A few gems and a bit of stitching and this is what you end up with:
Image: A really, really old Papermania stamp "Bauble Decoration"
Sentiment: Woodware "FRS357" Trimming the Tree
Catch you again tomorrow with another quick and easy design.
A beautiful stamped image and CAS layout perfect for posting, the white embossing is exquisite against the Kraft.
ReplyDeleteLove your supersized gnomes.
Take care Meg x
Lol... you're definitely on a mission because I'm sure I've just been here! I didn't think there was anything wrong with the first gnomes but I'll admit they look fabulous supersized, bigger the gnome the better eh. The Christmas decoration certainly doesn't need anything other than the gold mat and a bit of bling to make that into a quick and elegant card... psst ignore what the coffee tells you, it doesn't need tweaking lol x
ReplyDeleteAnother brilliant card - I've had that lovely bauble stamp 'forever' too.
ReplyDeleteThat stamp is so lovely it's always going to look good. Love the white on kraft with that bit of sparkle. Your stitching always looks good, I never think of doing it. x
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, the first one is very elegant.
ReplyDeleteAnother super Christmas card Jules, a beautiful stamp.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see anything wrong with the first gnome card but the new version is just as nice.

I have this stamp Jules and was only looking at it yesterday thinking I used it loads for years but hadn't used it this year (or last - hangs head in shame.) You've reminded me just how nice it is!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very classy on the Kraft card too - never seem to find nice Kraft card, the last lot of Kraft card stock I bought has some horrible stripe running through it and it makes your eyes gozzy when you look at it!
Happy Sunday! x
Hi Jules...this is such a lovely bauble stamp and I've had it for a very long time...I can remember when it first came out everyone was after it and the price of it on auction sites were silly money...Love the way you've stamped and embossed onto Kraft card...just adore your little gnome cards..

Hi Jules
ReplyDeleteThat 'old' Papermania stamp is one of my favourite Christmas stamps, I love the white embossing on the kraft card.
Love the gnomes, I like them either size, but I can see what you mean when going larger.
Have a great week ahead and stay safe.

I love white on kraft, it's so pretty. The pop of gold gives a lovely contrast, too xx
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with white on Kraft..fabulous card...very classy .....as for super sizing your gnomes? both sets look fine to me! Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteYour first card is gorgeous, so stylishly elegant. The white embossing on the kraft card is just lovely. Your gnome cards are fabulous too, Kate x x
ReplyDeleteI love your card. And I really like the look of white on craft paper. It's been a while since I tried that...I think you have inspired me to get our my white ink!
ReplyDeleteAhhh your cards are brill. I keep meaning to stamp on kraft with white but keep getting distracted by other crafty thing's!! Those gnomes are adorable. Loved them before but even more now they are super size ones! Hxx
