TEENY TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday .. .. I hope your week is going as well as it can in light of the new national lockdown.

Here tonight with my first teeny, tiny card for 2021  (yay!!  I got the year right this time .. .. I had a blast from the past and called it 2012 in my last post!! I typed the year lots of times that day and everytime I put 2012!  LOL!!).

For anyone new to my blog my teeny tiny makes are a whole 3.5 inches square and they are great for using up those small pieces of card and design paper that we all stash away.

Of course a teeny, tiny card doesn't use many snippets .. .. but every little helps.

So here it is:

This used:

Sentiment:  Wow!! Embossing Powder "STAMPSET2" Gratitude.
Lots of snippets
A piece of acetate
My Trusty Sewing Machine
We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board

This was inspired by a YouTube video I watched where all the strips are stuck to a piece of acetate and then die cut into shape .. .. .. but I can't find it again now to link to it.  Sorry.

  4. Great card as always. This looks like a good technique for using up snippets and I like the 'gaps' which appear with the use of acetate.

  9. After 2020 and the start of 2021, who can blame you for wanting to go back to 2012?!!! Sorry you guys are in a lock down again, I feel like we should be too, but they aren't doing it here. If course for us it is a state by state decision. One they all need to make, but then I'm afraid for the small businesses. Lets keep the hope that these vaccines will make a difference once they get them distributed.

I am loving your teeny tiny!! What a great way to use snippets! Love all the snippets you used, they look great with the kraft color. I don't have to search for the heart either. lol I like searching for the heart, but nice to have an easy one too. Well done my friend! Stay safe, stay healthy. Hugs, Brenda

  10. I really like this, what a great idea using up snippets! I would never have guessed how small the card was... I like to use that size too, especially for notelets. I liked to wish you a happy new year and I hope that 2021 is a better one. Take care and stay safe/

  13. Hi Jules,

Love your little card and a great use of all our scraps we can't bring ourselves to throw out. I must say, that since Christmas I haven't made one card. I do have to make one as my granddaughter is 15 on the 2oth of this month.

I have been playing with clay and Needle Felting too. Quite enjoying it for a change.

Hope the weddings all go ahead without any problems.

Hope your Mum is keeping well and stay safe.
    Love and hugs,
    Carol
