LIFE'S TOO SHORT FOR GLOSSY ACCENTS

Hi Everyone

Yes, my disastrous make of yesterday is now re-vamped and dry .. .. .. but in the process I decided life is too short for glossy accents .. .. well it was today anyway!!  LOL!!

Instead I used multiple layers of clear embossing powder on my flowers as I still didn't have the patience to wait for my glossy accents to dry.

Here is my make:

This used:

Flower and Swirls image:  Stampendous! "SSC668" Flower Swirls
Sentiment:  Hero Arts "H4938" Happy Birthday!
Clear Embossing Powder
Pearl Seed Beads
Glossy Accents
Ribbon from the Stash Box
Glamour Dust

So I am happy enough to share it now .. .. and the pathetic flower I produced last night is well and truly binned!!!  LOL!!

I hope you have all had a lovely Saturday.

I will see you again tomorrow where it will be my Sunday Scrap Week 4.   I wonder what I will make with my scrappy bits tomorrow?!?!?  At the moment your guess is as good as mine.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Love

  1. You definitely can't be in a hurry with glossy accents Jules! Your card is gorgeous and looks great glossy accents or not. Usually when I use it I either stick my finger in it before it's dry or end up cracking it and having to start again.
Hope all your ailments are not spoiling your weekend.

  9. It's beautiful Jules! I too get very impatient with glossy accents. If I do use them I have to put them somewhere out of the way where I'm not going to put something on top of it or be tempted to touch it!

  11. Wow! Gorgeous! That deep red against the beige and black is lovely - very striking. I like the way you've embellished the background flowers with the red dotted lines, and the bead centres of the others. I've got Glossy Accents, but tend to use Diamond Glaze instead, I think it dries a bit quicker.

Have a good Scrappy Sunday - if I get chance, I'll dive into my scrap box and join you! xx
