GROWN UP CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi Everyone

Phew!!!  What a super hot day today has been!  Lovely that we have beautiful sunshine but I am hoping tomorrow will be a little cooler.

Here sharing another of the lovely images I bought last weekend from Power Poppy .. .. which I coloured in the garden yesterday.  Hot summer's day and I colour a Christmas wreath LOL!!

Love the image very much and for me it is just perfect for a "grown up" Christmas card,

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  Power Poppy "Beribboned Wreath"
Backing Papers:  Papermania "A Silent Night"  (a very, very old favourite)
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents
Corner Rounding Punch
Gold Gems
Gold Ribbon
My Trusty Sewing Machine

The card is for taking over to the Rudolph Days challenge where the theme is always "anything goes as long as it is Christmas".

This now completes my five Christmas cards for June.

Halfway through the year already and a nice little collection of cards are coming together.

  2. A beautifully coloured image Jules. Very grown up gives you a warm feeling. Not that we need it, with the sunny days we are having.

Will reply shortly. We lost everything on our computer. It was a Microsoft update that my hubby did, as you would!! We lost all my access on line and all my favourites!! All sorted now.

    Take care and keep cool!!
    Love and big hugs,

  4. A lovely grown up card and a beautifully coloured Christmas wreath.

Hopefully it will be a little cooler today to keep some people away from the beach giving the police and street cleaners a chance to catch their breath!

  11. This really is a lovely image. I know what you mean about it being a "grown up" card! We just had one day of really hot weather but the thunderstorm last night was incredible. Fascinating to watch as we're in a dark sky area, so our nights really are pitch black x

  14. Hi Jules , hope you well . Super, and like you say, a grown up card. They say if you look at snowy pictures when it's hot it cools you...maybe with Christmas cards too . I was the same as you colouring in the garden , my craft room is boiling in the afternoon sun.
