My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

DID YOU GET ANY SNOW?

Hi Everyone

So Sunday here was pretty much non-stop snow .. ... and it made the day feel quite magical.

This is how much was left when we got up this morning:

I haven't seen this much snow in quite a while .. .. .. did you get any?

So with all the snow around what better than to make a snowflake card?

This used:

Snowflakes:  Bee Crafty "Yuletide Doodle Art Stamps - Snowflakes"
Sentiment:  Penny Black Clear Stamp Set "30-259" Wonderful & Jolly
Distress Ink Pads:  Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky & Faded Jeans
White Embossing Powder
Nail Head and Gems
My Trusty Sewing Machine

I am taking this over to Fezziwig's Festive Frolics Challenge where the theme this fortnight is "anything festive goes".

So that is me for today  -  Christmas card number three into the box!!  Yay!!

I wonder if we will have any more snow overnight!

Gorgeous card Jules, I love the design.
We had some snow here on Sunday, but most of it was gone by lunchtime. It’s still pretty cold though, so perfect weather for staying indoors and crafting. 😉 xx

Lovely photo of your snow. Only a sprinkling here thank goodness, for me snow is best either on cards or in photos 😉 This is a really nice snowflake card, great background.

Ooh I love the faded jeans mixed with the white snowflakes, gives it a lovely feel.

We have/still have a lot of snow here in Staffordshire, Sunday was super fun as I couldn't resist a snowball fight with my boys... happy times :) x

A lovely snowy card Jules. No snow for us here, but my mother is sending me daily photos of the snow in her garden (Staffordshire).

Lovely Jules - perfect for the weather too!
Our snow been with us for almost 10 days - love looking at the hills but feel sorry for the sheep who at one point simply blended in! We've had a thaw in the last day - snow all but gone but we now have an Ice Rink on the patio that Torvill and Dean would have loved! x

Wow that looks like a lot of snow! We haven't had any, only overnight frosts. Your card is lovely Jules and that top snowflake is different but so pretty. It looks like lace x

WOW, that's quite a fall of snow Jules, looks lovely. We've had snow off and on, but not as much as you, Inverness is fairly sheltered, thankfully.
Your snowflake card is gorgeous, I love your design and colours, Kate x

Oh you lucky duck!! We had sleet that promptly froze so Dorset was absolutely treacherous, not a gorgeous winter wonderland like your fabulous picture. Still I live in hope, my Birthday is in February and it's not unheard of for us to get a good old dump of snow then!! Your snowy card is so lovely, the sketchy snowflakes look great heat embossed xx

Oh this is stunning, what a beautiful card. No snow here. We never seem to get it, thinking its due to being on the coast!! Boooo!!! Stay Safe, Hazelxx

A really lovely set of stamps and perfect card for your gift from above (?) We did get some snow but we blinked and it was gone. Strange as we are 'Up North' and supposed to be colder as those 'Down South'.

Wow, looks like you got a good bit of snow Jules! From the looks of it, maybe around 4 to 5 inches??? We got snow last night, but mostly ice/rain mix with a little snow. It melted quickly later in the day, but now we are supposed to get bitter cold with high winds. I'd rather have the snow. lol I'm in love with this snowflake card! The background is so cool looking, just like a wintery sky. I also love those artsy snowflakes, they are so cool looking. Then there is the sentiment, loving the swirls in the "snow". Perfect place to tuck your little heart. I would say the snow inspired you very well! Hugs, Brenda
