Hi Everyone
Snippet day .. .. and what a stroke of luck I had.
Hubby came home yesterday armed with a set of 5 A4 drawers he had bought as a treat for me .. .. thinking they would be great in my little craft pod. Bless xx
Of course .. .. everything gratefully accepted into the crafty area .. .. but as with anything new you try to fit into your craft space it always means moving loads of things around to fit them in. But one way or another you always manage it .. .. a bit like the Tardis on Dr Who LOL!!!
Anyway whilst moving everything around I found a small plastic box that contained just the thing for my snippet make for Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.
Everything already printed and good to go and this is what I made:
As always, because it is Sunday, I am lazy and do not list what I have used .. .. .. but if you need to know then ask away.
I have also put a bit of fun on my side bar too.
Lots of you have said how much you enjoy my "theme" weeks .. .. .. and I do find it good for increasing card stocks for the "less needed" cards at this end .. .. .. so I have given you a choice of what you would like to see next week with a little poll. I have always wanted to try doing one of these so two birds with one stone.
Not long to choose though I'm afraid. Only thought of it this morning and it will run out tomorrow morning (just in case I am an early bird with my share of the day).
Notice I didn't put one that said "please yourself, we're not bothered" as that might have been the highest scorer. LOL!!!
Enjoy the rest of Sunday.
Tennis is on in the background .. .. if only I could understand how they score I am sure I would enjoy it more!!
Love
Hi Jules
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your weekend. I have the tennis on aswell but have been ironing quite a lot today! Paul has been mowing and strimming our grass because I don't expect he'll get a chance anytime next week with the weather forecast. Love your gorgeous card and the colours! I have just voted Ages on your poll!

Brilliant card Jules, love the paper piecing. It amazes me when you get a new storage item for the craftroom how you ever managed to fit it all in without it, I have just gotten three and wondered where the stuff was appearing from lol Hugs, Amanda x

I think I'm too late for the poll, but I did want to say a) I love your sweet lovebirds card!; b) great use of snippets!; and c) I don't think you should be using the 'kill two birds with one stone' phrase in the same post as the lovebirds. They have ears you know.
ReplyDeleteLove this card...so elegant, love how you throw something together from your scraps and come up with a card that looks a million dollars lol!!
