My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

NEARLY THE WEEKEND

Hi Playmates

I hope that everyone is doing well and you have been having a good week.  We actually saw some lovely sunshine here .. .. .. so spring must be starting to peep around the corner!  Yay!!

Flying by with a little make using one of my favourite Penny Black images .. .. .. probably because it works for both male and female cards depending on the backing papers and decorative elements you add.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "4058J" Yearning
Sentiment:  Part of  Woodware Set "JGS492" Circle Flowers
Backing Papers from Snippet Mountain (but originated from 12x12 pads from The Works)
ProMarkers
Corner Rounding Punch
Ribbon
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Flower element put together from a variety of die-cuts from my flower stash box (which is another of the boxes from the fishing tackle bag/boxes I mentioned here).

It certainly speeds things up when you can just pinch elements out of box - especially flowers that are already layered up and good to go.  Good for using up those snippets too.

I often take some colouring with me, or my teeny tiny die cutting machine and a few snippets and dies when I go to visit Mum .. .. just in case she isn't being sociable and is preferring to sleep (which is the case more often than not nowadays unfortunately).

I wonder which box I will work on next?!?!?  Although there are still top-ups needed in the flower box as I have been raiding it as quickly as I fill it.

Enjoy your weekend when it arrives.
