My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MY LAST DAY OF FREEDOM

Morning Everyone

Well today is my last day of freedom!!

Back to work tomorrow.

I spent yesterday putting Christmas away (boo hoo) and in the process managed to block my hoover with pine needles off the tree. No wonder cleaning up seemed such a hard job - the whole pipe was solid with the little blighters!! In fact getting them out of the carpet was like getting fish bones out of fish!!

So everywhere looks dull and boring again today and I will go on my annual post Christmas "mini depression". I'll soon knock myself out of it but I am the same every year - probably because I love Christmas so much.

So today I am going to make the most of my time and hopefully get lots and lots and lots of creations made.

Here is one little one to share with you:

This used:

Patterned Backing Paper: Funky Hand "Funky Daze"
Plain Papers: Memory Store
Image: Judikins "Cloth Butterfly"
Sentiment: Pink Petticoat "Girly Curly Sentiments"
Martha Stewart Punch: Doily Lace
Sizzix Die: Flower, Daisies (Bigz Die 654981)
Nailheads: Josy Rose
Brad, Ribbon and wire from the stash box

I am loving this butterfly stamp. I stamped it up three times and layered it using silicone gel.

I think the whole of blogland must be trying to upload photographs at the moment .. .. .. it has taken 7 attempts to get my picture here!!

So back to work tomorrow and the weather forecast for my area is saying "SNOW" !!! How dare they? Why couldn't there be lots of snow when I didn't need to drive in it???

See you all again soon and thank you for calling by.

Love Jules xx

p.s. Edited after comments:

1. Yes, the Sizzix die cuts all the different layers of the flower and you simply arrange them on top of each other (plus I curl them a little).

2. This card doesn't use the new Funky Hand CD. This uses Funky Daze which is already available - the new CD is called Dreams Come True and I haven't teased you with that yet LOL!!!.

3. Yippee - got up Tuesday morning and "no snow"!!

Happy New Year Jules ! I know exactly what you mean. I sink into a mini depression also when all the Christmas decorations are packed away. The house just seems "naked"! I've been putting it off,but I think today will be the day,.....maybe! lol. Your butterfly card gives us hope of warmer days ahead! Thank you for that! :) Tracy

Gorgeous card - It is a lovely stamp. I know what you mean about the snow. Our road is like a skating rink and if I manage to get to work will I end up having to abandon the car at the bottom of the hill on the way back? It's all very pretty, but I've had enough now!

Sod's Law about the snow forecast for tomorrow isn't it. I'll keep my fingers crossed it's not too bad for you.

PS. I'm the same as you with the post Christmas miseries!

Hi Jules

Sorry to be a pain. I've been trying to track down that Sissix daisy die without luck, do you have the name of it and size of die.
Sorry to be pain.

Thanks

Lisax

Hi Lisa

You are not a pain at all - happy help.

I simply took the name off the side of the die and realise now that I should have quoted the number off the packaging too. Must remember to do this in future.

The one I used on my card is a Bigz Die
654981

The various descriptions it gives are:
Flower, Daisies
Fluer, Marguerites
Flor, Margaritas

I hope this helps and you can track it down.

I have had it for a few years now.

Love Jules xx
