My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HAS SPRING SPRUNG?

Hi Everyone

What a beautiful day weather wise!!!

Why does this always happen the day after a bank holiday?  We get blessed with a day that would have been perfect for all the things people wanted to do yesterday.

So because the weather was so lovely .. .. what do I do? .. .. I make even more ironing!!!  Stupid girl!!!

I was supposed to have done loads of ironing last night but hubby made the fatal mistake of saying "you don't need to bother tonight .. .. I have a shirt for tomorrow".  Well of course I never need telling twice so did none!! LOL!!!

Instead I did my impression of a hamster and sat and turned the squeaky handle on my Cuttlebug some 120 odd times to cut and emboss dies for going onto a wedding stationery order.   Much preferable to ironing any day!!

So I ended up getting up early and ironing this morning .. .. but still have lots left .. .. and will have even more when I fetch my washing in!!  At least it will smell nice.

My share today made me thankful that my washing line isn't that low off the ground .. .. my sheets would definitely be dragging on the floor if it was!

This used:

Image:  Saturated Canary
Sentiment:  Lili of the Valley
Backing papers:  Wild Rose Studio "Wintry Christmas"
Nestabilities:  Eyelet Circle
ProMarkers
Chalk
White and black gel pen
Pearls from the Stash Box

and that is me for today.

Thanks to a reminder from my lovely blog buddy Lou I have also entered this card into the Saturated Canary Challenge #16  Thank you Lou xx  I hadn't realised that there was a challenge connected to these gorgeous images!!

Time now to go and fetch that dreaded washing in and increase that iron mountain!!  Hope it doesn't fall on anyone LOL!!

Have a good evening everyone.

Love

Hi Jules, You made me chuckle with your excuses (or rather your hubby's excuses) for not ironing - the times that has been said in our house! :-) I think your saturated canary image is great. I love the colour combo. It has been a lovely day today - took the dog for a walk. Hope it stays lovely tomorrow. Have a great day. Lynn x

I don't do ironing... very rarely anyway - terrible aren't I?! The only iron that gets any use is the one in my craft room lol! Hugs, Lisa x

It's been a lovely day hasn't it, Jules. Sadly I was out lunching and craft shopping so couldn't do any washing today!!! lol.
We were actually blessed with some lovely weather over the weekend so have been luckier than some I think.
Love all your cards as always, and glad your wedding stuff is all going well, you sound busier than ever.
Have fun.

Love this Jules and was so excited to see your card as l have just bought this beautiful digi. She is so sweet and l love how you've layered her up.

I managed to get four loads washed and dried today but as you so rightly said, the ironing stack is now back to a mountain level! Yesterday, l achieved the unachievable, I was too hot and had to switch the heating off. This was due to our fire being lit all day so l could get some washing dried. Laundry rules my life lol

Have a great night xx

Glad you had a nice day. I managed to eat my breakfast outside in the sunshine and then it went cold and miserable after about half an hour.
See what you mean about the washing line. Artistic license I think that is. Cute image though and a lovely card. All that stitching looks fab.

To quote Ali Reeves, 'Ironing!!! The only time I use an ironing is for crafting.' My daughter's new washer/drier has a 'ironing' cycle and I, in all innocence, was dead impressed - a machine that can iron, yippee, I'll have one of them - until told me that it just meant the washing came out of the drier cycle ready for ironing, really burst my balloon :(

Love this Saturated Canary image though ... and plenty of little hearts to spot too :)
