My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HARDLY WORTH IT !!

Hi Everyone

Well it is hardly worth me making an appearance today .. .. my day has flown by faster than ever before and then hubby decided we should go shopping for a few Christmas things!

Dare I admit that I actually resorted to BUYING some Christmas cards!!!  Shock horror!!!

Hanging my head in shame now :-(

Hubby also saw some ready rolled out marzipan whilst we were out and about.  I think he thought I might need some.  I'm not sure if he was disappointed or not when I told him you actually need a Christmas cake to put the marzipan onto .. .. and as we don't have one we won't need any!!

Oh dear .. .. what a bad wife, cardmaker and blogger I am becoming.

Once back home I was determined to have another play with the new patterned kraft papers from Pink Petticoat .. .. so here we go:

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Stamps "Tipsy Tree"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Christmas Kraft Organics" (Printed from a different colour set to the one I showed last night)
Hobbycraft Punch:  Snowflake
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Button, ribbon and cord from my Stash Box

Those of you who have been following my blog for a while will have seen me use this stamp for the last two Christmases .. .. but because it hadn't made an appearance this year I bet you were thinking I had lost it  LOL!!!  But no.  It was just waiting its turn to see daylight.

So that is me for today.

Time to get a shirt ready for hubby for tomorrow.  I did tell you I was behind with everything!!!

Catch you again tomorrow.

Hopefully much earlier!!!

Love

This is fabulous Jules. I love that tree and as I have only been part of blogland since May this year it is the first time I have seen you use it.
Those papers really are gorgeous and your layout is brilliant.

A fab card Jules although I think the tree seems to be looking for something - marzipan perhaps?? Back in the days when I used to make Christmas cakes I usually had to buy the marzipan more than once - simply because I couldn't resist eating it before it got onto the cake. Go on - buy him some.

Hello little tree, I was wondering where you were hiding :) I so adore this stamp Jules and what a perfect card you made. Not sure if the stitching is 'faux', it's a lovely touch! Eeek, did I spot the heart - just scampered back to the piccies and yup, can see it/them :)

Marzipan - yummy. Dates, split with the stones removed and a little piece of marzipan inserted are lovely. Only sayin'!

Love, Di xx
