A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a lovely Sunday.

We have spent some of it trying to make some in-roads into the dreaded Christmas shopping.

Just one year I would love us to be organised and have it all done and wrapped nice and early!!  Could this be the year?  We will have to wait and see LOL!!

I try every year and fail miserably .. .. .. but I will still try again .. .. .. and who knows if we manage it just one year it may become the norm.

OK just picked myself up off the floor from all that laughing and will now share my Sunday snippet make for Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.

No Christmas card today .. .. but a birthday card for a special friend who has a birthday today.  Made bright and early so we could drop it off on our way out to do the dreaded shopping (I say "dreaded" not because I dislike Christmas shopping .. .. I love being amongst all the Christmas goodies and seeing all the super excited children.  I love choosing presents for people and wrapping them up .. .. I just dislike the price of everything LOL!!).

So here we go with my snippet make for this week

As usual I am lazy on a Sunday and do not list any of my ingredients .. .. but as always if you have any questions feel free to "ask away".

Not sure if I will be early or late tomorrow.  All I know is we have a trip to the dentist for a check up .. .. so I need to steer clear of the glitter so it isn't all over my face come inspection time  LOL!!

Enjoy your evening and I'll catch you sometime tomorrow.

Love

Gorgeous...she is going to love this one!!!
The little charm heart is the perfect finishing touch!!!

I have not braved the Xmas shopping crowds as of yet. i did pick up most of thew stocking gifts on little mini trips out to just one store each day when i was getting my walking minutes up each day, it was easier to increase the minutes if I was doing something I liked...heeeheee

Luckily my daughters want a single big ticket item each, TV's for their bedrooms at their houses... So one daughter is completely finished and the other's just needs me to pick up a husband gift and we are done for them.

Just my husbands big gift and the grandkids to go...but i am going to Black Friday with my daughter...staying overnight in a hotel and grabbing the bargains!!!
Actually we sill shop all night and then sleep maybe 5 hours and get up and do it again...I will be sitting in coffee shops guarding the purchased gifts as I can't walk or stand that long. Should be an adventure...Hopefully i will be finished all my shopping after that. YAY!!!

Wow, another absolutely stunning card Jules - pink and black are so perfect together, fabulous image and layout. I adore the wide pink ribbon too.

Question, at what point do you add the twine bow - or more correctly, how do you attach it. I sometimes use them but tying them around a totally finished bow don't always look so neat - surprised you didn't see my nose pressed right up against the inside of your screen as I tried to work it out :)

Love, Di xx

A beautiful card Jules - I'm sure your special friend will be chuffed to bits with it. Good luck with Christmas shopping. Now I'm living within easy reach of shops I was 'sort of' looking forward to being able to shop and give presents this year - but no - 5 grandchildren and they all want cash. Well that's quick anyway. lol
