Hi Everyone
Happy Friday! The night Mr Heart cooks our fish and chip supper .. .. so Friday's are always extra happy here LOL!!
Before I show you my make of today I feel I must put the record straight regarding my post from yesterday .. .. .. please don't think I drank enough bottles of wine to collect all of those corks!! Gosh it would take me ages to drink that much wine. The magazine actually sent me all the corks .. .. .. they had been collecting them over time in readiness for the commission.
The magazine provided the lovely ones with the writing on .. .. and I bought a few "plain and boring ones" just to fill a few spaces.
So please don't think I spend all my time with a wine glass in my hand LOL!!!
Anyway .. .. today called for a birthday card to take to a special Auntie who loves cats and is very much like a second Mum to me. This is what I delivered to her earlier today along with some flowers:
This used:
Image and Sentiment: Penny Black "Purr-fect Message" 40-040
Backing Papers: "Sweet Garden Roses" from The Works
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Ribbon
and that is me for today!
A wedding weekend coming up for the House of Hearts .. .. including a wedding fayre on Sunday. No doubt there will be lots of excited brides to meet who got engaged over Christmas.

Oh what a delightful card...and a lucky Auntie!...as for the corks Jules....not many bottles of wine come with corks do they these days..at least not the cheap ones we drink!!..lol...a bottle lasts me a week!! xx
Hello my dear! Thought I'd pop by! Fabulous card x
Your Aunt is going to love this pretty card - great. I missed yesterday's post but I did succumb to buying the magazine (couldn't resist the cute owl set) and just skimming through it I wondered who had managed to amass that many wine bottle corks, not realising this was one of your projects. It is certainly a great idea although sadly lots of bottles these days come with screw tops which aren't as useful methinks.
I could have sent you enough corks..... LOL!!!
Great card here Jules. Have a great weekend! x
I had to laugh at today's post. I saw yesterday's but didn't get chance to comment and I'm sure no-one must have thought you'd drunk all that wine :) . Today's card is so pretty, your stitching always looks so neat and I love PB images, they are so cute xx
A super card Jules, such an adorable image.
We'll believe you, just this once!
I hope your wedding fayre goes well and you get lots of orders.

Sure, sure, whatever.
Lol, j/k, of course. I don't think any of us thought you had drank all those bottles of wine yourself....at least not all in one week.... lol

Such a beautiful and super-sweet card, your Aunt will be pleased ! And no, I didn't think that you drank all that wine, you wouldn't be able to make such wonderful cards and other creations ! :) Enny
Hi Jules
Gorgeous card... I have that same stamp...
hugs Sylvie xx
You had me chuckling at the wine corks Jules, as I could just see those wedding projects all crocked and misaligned from to many glasses of wine. lol I don't think you would still be doing wedding stuff if you were hitting the bottle that much! That's my problem, love the wine cork projects but can never seem to collect enough of them to do anything. Love your sweet cat card for your Aunt!!Love the paper you used with it and I just adore that image. So cute, so sweet, so perfect! Hugs, Brenda
A beautiful card Jules, I'm sure that your Aunt loved it. I love the board that you made with the corks too and had to scroll down to see what you were talking about. Most bottles that I see these days have screw top bottles, or maybe it just I like cheap wine.
