My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

QUICK AND SIMPLE

Hi Everyone

I hope your day has gone as well as it could .. .. and you have all been good and obeyed our lockdown rules.  We certainly didn't expect this when we were celebrating bringing in the new year just a few weeks ago did we?

I was just relieved to hear that I was going to be allowed to travel to continue looking after Mum .. .. .. otherwise it would have been a case of me taking up residence with her and sleeping on her sofa again.

I did a tiny bit of "crafty sorting" first thing and all my scrapling card bases, made from the offcuts left over after cutting my base cards, now have their own designated box.  I was rather surprised at how many I have accumulated already .. .. so used one of them to make a quick and simple card using one of my favourite Penny Black stamps  .. .. .. great for anyone and any age!

So here it is:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3212K" Much Gifted!
Sentiment:  Polkadoodles Clear Stamps "PD8024" All About Her Sentiments
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is it.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

A super scrapling card. I don't cut my own cards but do cut inserts so have loads of scrapling paper which I normally use for shopping lists etc.although I'm sure there must be some other use for them.

Oh Jules, what a beautiful card, gorgeous stamp ! I'm so glad that you are still able to help your mother. These are very bad times, we are also "locked up", but it's the only way to survive this, I think. All the best, stay healthy ! Love, Enny

Such a fabulous card Jules, I love this image. Like you I'm glad that I can get to my Mum, however she does have carers going in twice a day and meals on wheels so I don't feel quite so pushed.

Keep safe and well.

What a fabulous image, never seen this before, love it though, super colours. So pleased that you have managed to be able to travel to see your Mum. Its is a strange time and while we are in our early 70's we are so lucky that, at the moment. we are fit and well. Don't think that our eldest Daughter would come over from Australia to look after us but we do have a Daughter who only lives 5
minutes away and very, very, luckily her Hubby is home at the moment and will be so as long as this lasts, the boys are over the moon. The yacht is berthed in Singapore so there is no way he can get a flight and also as the owner lives in America there is no way he can get a flight either.
Wonder if it was like this in the 2nd world war.
