A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ALWAYS WITH A HEART - OR THREE

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on Monday's post - we had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary.

Another bright and sunny day here today .. .. .. oh I hope this is a sign of things to come and the weather is going to spoil us again .. .. just like it did this time last year.

As I am super happy to have been able to add another tab to the top of my blog I have added another rectangular sketch today.  It looks like this:

and once put to work  .. .. .. it finished up looking like this using a pale cream card that looks a little bit darker in this picture than it is in real life.

This used:

Images and Sentiment: WOW! Stamps "Gratitude"  (Not on their website)
Backing Papers:  "Lilac Bouquet" This is an old download designed by Doreen Stoltz and sold through Aimee Asher (not sure what happened to them but it used to be a great place to find lovely design papers back in the day).
Spellbinder Circle and Scallop Circle Die Sets
Nail Head
My Trusty Sewing Machine

Amongst lots of other things, I have been trying to do some housekeeping on my laptop and part of this housekeeping led me to a collection of old download files (hence today's ancient papers).  I am trying to get them all a bit better organised and some of the file names re-worded so I know exactly what they are .. .. rather than a row of initials and numbers .. .. .. .. which is how quite a few of my downloads have arrived over the years.

It will be nice to remind myself of some of the goodies that will be stored away .. .. .. but I must admit I have already come across some that have made me think "why on earth did I buy that!!"  LOL!!

Enjoy what is left of the evening folks and I will catch you again soon.

This is really pretty! I am not good with sketches at all. But maybe I will get brave and try to do some of yours...
and I have a lot of "why on earth did I buy that too!"

Thanks for another great sketch and your card is lovely as always. It can be quite enlightening trawling through stash whether for real or on the computer and I imagine we all have a selection of 'why did I get that?' items squirrelled away. Hope you have a good Easter weekend and that the weather will indeed be friendly so that we can spend some time outside without being bundled up in coats, hats and gloves like we were on Mother's Day.

Great and gorgeous card, love the design too along with the papers used. I was in day surgery yesterday so missed a few posts last couple of days. ♥

A super new sketch Jules and you have created a fabulous card with it.
I know what you mean about storing digital collections, I have re-organised mine recently and discovered lots of fabulous collections that I had forgotten about and some not so nice collections that need to go!
It's a lovely day here, I think it's going to get cold again tomorrow though, I don't mind as long as it is dry.

Another great sketch Jules for a rectangular card and love those papers. My digi images need sorting too. I usually put them in folders by make, but I can't remember the makes of some of them and there are quite a few there not even used yet. Weather has cooled quite a bit today, but whatever you're doing, have a lovely Easter x

A gorgeous card Jules, love the design and papers.
It's great rediscovering older crafty stash. I've just found a 12" pad of paper I bought from QVC years ago...love it more now!

I'm loving not only this sketch, but the pretty papers you used together! I really like how those little text hearts match the petals and leaves on the main image! Sorry I'm visiting a bit late, but I hope your anniversary was fabulous! Congratulations!

Oh what a pretty make, I love the colours you have gone for. I know exactly what you mean with files. I really need to sort mine out too. Especially now I have a USB with SVGs as well. Sorry for lateness in comments, no idea who steals the time just now!! Hope you are having a good Easter Weekend, Hazelx

Love this layout and the papers are gorgeous. Your laptop maintenance struck a chord with me - I recently discovered some Pink Petticoat digis that have been tucked away in a folder for several years! xx

Great sketch Jules and a lovely card...I think we’ve all got lots of things that we’ve bought and wondered ‘why’....I’m. certainly guilty of that!
