A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

GREEN CHRISTMAS

Hi Everyone

I hope your week has been going well.

I am here to play along with the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where the current theme  is "Green Christmas".

My Christmas card stash is a little slow in growing this year, my Christmas stock box is usually a little fuller by now, so I decided to have a little "batch making" session in an attempt to "get ahead" and be super early ready for Christmas.

I want 2021 to be my most organised and stress free Christmas ever!!

So here we go.

My green Christmas:

This used:

Images:  Hero Arts "K5620" and "H5629"
Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Magic Singles "FRS771" Merry & Bright
Memento Ink:  Bamboo Leaves
Silver Embossing Powder
Nail Head
My Trusty Sewing Machine

So I now need to finish the other six cards and then this year I am going to be putting my inserts into my cards straight away.  Last year I had lots of cards made but ended up sitting there for ages and ages putting the insert inside.

Not my most favourite of crafty tasks!

See you again soon.

Ooh, these are lovely! I really like the soft green colour, just a bit different from the traditional darker green. I'm afraid my crafting is very limited just now as the house is going on the market but hopefully it won't be too long before I can have some proper crafty time again! Stay safe xx

Such a beautiful card which fits the brief so well and to have a batch of them is brilliant. I do try and keep on top of the inserts task which isn't a favourite of mine either especially when a couple of cards seems to grow into a mammoth pile in no time.

Beautiful cards. I am usually like you, last minute inserts. Best to make the whole card at the one time. I think we all like the fun part of the making of card best. Elaine

Good for you for batch making Jules! I know this year is already moving forward way to fast, so we must get these Christmas cards ready if we want to be ready for sending them out. I love this batch! That image is just beautiful! I love it in the green, but I bet it is very lovely in a night time sky of blue too. Loving the silver tree in the front too. Ha! I can so relate to not having the insides of my cards done too. I need to get on and finish the insides of mine as well. As like you, it's not my favorite crafty thing to do and it can end up taking a long time to get them done. Let's hope a lot of us have a stress free Christmas or at least as stress free as we can get! Hugs, Brenda

Hi Jules,

Stunning Christmas cards, love the designs. Look like they are for 'Harrods'
to sell!!

My pet hate is 'inserts'!! I always seem to get a build up of cards, waiting for their inserts! I just find it hard to do them straight away!

Hope you are more settled now and your Mum had a lovely day too.
Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx
