My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MY SKETCH FOR MARCH

Hi Everyone

I hope your week has been a good one.

Quite a bit has been accomplished this week in the House of Hearts .. .. .. .. but as always I am never satisfied and always expect more from my days.

I wonder if I will ever reach the stage where I say "that will do for today" and then just chill!  I somehow doubt it!

Today I have added a new sketch into My Sketch Vault, which you can find on a tab at the top of my blog.

It looks like this:

and when put to use can look like this:

This used:

Image: LOTV James the Bear Thinking Simply Print
Sentiment:  LOTV Simply Cute Sentiments
Backing Papers:  Papermania Capsule Collection "Midnight Blush" (super duper old)
X-Cut Corner Rounding Punch
Spellbinders Circle Die
Creative Expressions:  Shaded Peony with matching die set
Dew Drop
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine

If you want to play with any of my sketches then please feel free to do so.  I love using them as it takes half the thinking out of producing a card.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Great sketch and you made a beautiful card using it. I always struggle with sketches. I think one of these days are have to check out your sketches and see if I can actually make a card using a sketch.

Hi Jules,

James the bear is one of my favourites and I have quite a few stamps of him. The sketch is brilliant and a gorgeous cute card.

I am going to use your sketch, as I spend too much time faffing around. I have another batch to make for my other care home I supply with cards.

I don't think we ever will sit and say that's enough!! We have been here over 5 years and still can't get my other half to do any jobs that I would like to get done.

Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx

What a great sketch Jules, you have quite a few of them now! I love how your card came out, that little image is just adorable. I love the color pallet of this card as well as the papers you used. Love the flower too! This little guy makes a good thinking of you card for sure. Hugs, Brenda

Aww teddy with his thoughts and a good cup of coffee... how darling is your card and sketch. I like the subtle colours with that pop of pink from the flower, nice finishing touch.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, much appreciated. Take care x

Hope you don't mind - I've CASE'd our card fairly closely but at least it has used up a few snippets and helped time to pass searching for toning bits and pieces.

I am absolutely rubbish at interpreting sketches. I love the result you have come up with. Yes I did look at the origami fold for a kite but it was too many folds and tucks for using on a card so chose a different way to make mine. Hugs Mrs A.
