A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

TEENY, TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

I hope that today turned out to be a good day for you.  We had some lovely sunshine but sadly it isn't predicted for the remainder of the week.

Tonight I have a bit of a "different" teeny tiny card to share.  Still measuring 3.5 inches square though.

I am really lucky to have a special craft buddy and between us we "virtually" discuss all things crafty (and other things besides LOL!!) and we often discuss stash we have acquired over the years  .. .. some of which hasn't seen the light of day in ages .. .. and occasionally never at all.

One such item which we both possess, but hadn't used, was a plastic bag which contained different sized rectangles of Stampbord.

For anyone who hasn't heard of Stampbord, it is a hardboard panel covered with a layer of super smooth dry clay.

We challenged ourselves to both use the largest piece in our plastic bag and took our inspiration from this YouTube Video here

This is my offering (attached to a teeny, tiny card):

The centre piece looks like it is standing well proud of my die cut and that is because it has a magnet on the back along with a temporary sticky dot .. .. .. this means my tiny work of art can be taken from the card front and attached to a fridge front.  (That was my crafty friend's idea .. .. which I thought was such a good idea!  Thanks for that matie! xx)

There are different ways to treat the edges (if you want to cover them) but I simply used a clear embossing ink pad and gold embossing powder.

This used:

Stampbord
Distress Ink Pads
Image:  AALL & Create "Eclectic Stems"
Can't remember where the sentiment came from but if I remember I will add it here
Gold Embossing Powder
Creative Expressions Embossing Folder EF-079 "Love Hearts"
Go Kreate:  Scalloped Squares
Magnet
Temporary Glue Dot

and that is me for today.

Keeping my fingers crossed for some more decent weather tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Wow, what a beautiful card, that stampbord is very special and I love the idea of the magnet ! Don't know if you can send it by post, it might get stuck in the sorting machine... Rainy weather here, my doggy doesn't like it... :) Hugs, Enny

Super and what a good idea to make the piece detachable to use as a fridge magnet. Guess who else has a bag of these stamp boards from way, way back!! Might entail a bit of a search though to unearth them 😉. A few lovely days here but now we are back to wet and windy

Hi Jules,
I have a drawer full of different shapes and sizes!! I also have a few that I have coloured and stamped on, then covering them with Glossy Accents. Some, after doing the colouring, I have a tool to scratch the colour off in spaces to highlight where needed. You have now rekindled my mojo!!

Love your little card and a great idea to have it as a fridge magnet.

Hope your Mum is keeping well and looking forward to getting out more soon.
Love and hugs,
Carol S. xxxx

How fun to have a crafty friend you can virtually craft with! I love that you ladies challenged each other to use this "Stampbord". It sounds really cool and a cool item to have in one's stash. I love how you used it. Your teeny tiny is so beautiful! I love that daisy stamp. I love this teeny tiny! lol But what I love even more is that you turned it into a magnet that can be hung on the fridge. Such a great idea! They always say two heads are better than one and in this case, I think so! Been nice and sunny here with some nice temps, but that will be coming to an end with some rain coming in this weekend. But the dogs and I soaked up that sunshine and those warm temps! lol Hugs, Brenda
