My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

LOADS OF LOVE

Hi Everyone

I hope your week has been a good one and that you are ready for your weekend.  Hope it is one filled with things you enjoy.

I needed to nip to the supermarket for some additional supplies for Mum today and I couldn't help but see what other folk were putting through the check-out!  Most folk appeared to be buying food that wasn't going to take much preparation to eat alongside the football on Sunday .. .. .. a few people even had bottles of bubbly so were clearly planning on having something to celebrate!  Oooooo .... ... wouldn't that be nice .. .. .. an England win .. .. .. in fact that would be very nice!

Anyway, just a quick share from me tonight:

This used:

Image:  Julie Hickey "SKU: JH1043" Sweet Daisy Stamp Set
Sentiment:  Penny Black Clear Stamp Set "30-146" Loads of Love (Great to be able to curve clear sentiment stamps).
Backing Papers:  All from my snippet mountain
Distress Ink Pad:  Bundled Sage
ProMarkers
X-Cut Corner Rounding Punch
Ribbon
My Trusty Sewing Machine
and Sketch Number from Five from my Rectangular Sketch Library  (feel free to use it if you like the look of it).

Enjoy your weekend everyone .. .. .. whether you are a footie fan, a tennis fan or someone who isn't interested in either.

Personally I don't have the foggiest idea how to follow the scoring with tennis .. .. .. but footie .. .. I will definitely be there for that!  Come on England!!!!

Such a pretty card Jules, a lovely daisy stamp and another great sketch.
I think there will be a few thick heads on Monday regardless of the result!

This one is a real winner: gorgeous soft colours, fabulous design and beautiful image. Just watched the ladies final in the tennis and will try to see at least some of the men's match tomorrow. Will certainly be watching the footie! Have a fabulous weekend xx

Hi Jules,

A beautiful, elegant card Jules and love the flowers. Great colours for background.
I have no interest in football for personal reasons. I have enjoyed watching the tennis and the ladies finals were today. Husband was happy as an Aussie girl won it.

As for this last week, it has been a horrible few days. I was contacted on Tuesday from my niece to tell me that her Mum, my sister was blue lighted to the hospital. She has had a Stroke. I have put more details on my blog. I was very shocked to say the least. She is a carer for her husband who had a bad stroke a few years ago. She was also a carer for my eldest sister that has Alzheimer's and is now in a nursing home. Life is not fair!!

Love and hugs,
Carol

PS. Thank you for lovely comment on my last card, yes I did see the message about the papers. I haven't been to The Works in ages, so a trip to town is on the cards!
