My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

LILI OF THE VALLEY - CHALLENGE 63

Hi Everyone

Friday again!!! Yay!!!

It is a double "yay" really as it is an extra special Friday .. .. my oldest Son and his wife are coming up from London for a few days ready for my Mum's 80th birthday celebrations on Sunday.

So an early post today ahead of me getting their bedroom "spruced up" a little .. .. as in putting all the things away that manage to accumulate when the spare room isn't in use!!!!!!

Here is my share of the day - which is for the Lili of the Valley Challenge. There was a sketch to follow from Bev - it was lovely to use, so it will no doubt be put to good use in the future.
and the close up

This used:

Image: Lili of the Valley
Backing Papers: DCWV "The Christmas Multi Stack"
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Nestabilities: Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Hobbycraft Punch: Small snowflake
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Diamond Stickles
Eyelets and ribbon from the stash box

I drew over the little snowflakes and parts of the Santa hat with a glue pen and dusted them in Glamour Dust to give them their lovely sparkle.

Here is the sketch and the challenge - just in case you fancy having a go
I really enjoyed making this card .. .. .. not that I have a Grand-daughter to give it to .. .. .. it is one of the cards I will have on sale at the Melbourne Festival in a couple of weeks. I was surprised how many people asked for Christmas cards last year so am trying to make amends this time.

Have a lovely Friday everyone.

Love Jules xx

Hi Jules,

Your spare room sounds just like mine - it tends to get the overspill from my craftroom, and I have to shift everything out when anyone comes to stay.

Love your card, really pretty - it is indeed a great sketch, and you've interpreted it beautifully. xx
