My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ONE FOR MY SON TO GIVE

Hi Everyone

My youngest Son has asked me to make a couple of cards for him this week and this first one is for him to give to my Mum for her 80th birthday which is next Monday.

On Sunday though we are all going out for dinner as a family .. .. the guest of honour, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, partners plus Mum's brother and sister-in-law. We will be a grand party of 33 !!!!

Oh dear .. .. I wouldn't want to be sitting near us in the restaurant LOL!!! We can be a rather excitable bunch!!

Our oldest Son and his wife are also coming up from London so we get a long weekend together yay!!!

Anyways, here is the card I have made for our youngest to give to my Mum, his Nanny.

and the close up

This used:

Image: Penny Black: "4035" Letters and Flowers
Backing Paper: Pink Petticoat "Vintage Rose"
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Martha Stewart Punch: Valentine Lace
Distress Ink: Faded Jeans
ProMarkers
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon and cord from the stash box

I chose this image as the flowers are something my Mum and Dad used to grow in abundance when we were kids and there would be vases full of them all over the house because they grew like weeds. The more we cut the more that seemed to grow LOL!!!

So that is the card done for my youngest Son to give. My oldest and his wife will make their own .. .. but I still have mine to make .. .. and no idea what I will do yet!! Eeekkkk.

I will show you the other make for my Son (a wedding card) on Saturday .. .. which is the wedding day of two of his friends.

Have a lovely Thursday .. .. the Bank Holiday has made for a very strange and quick week don't you think?

Love Jules xx
