My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY - WEEK 121

Hi there

I hope everyone is well.

I thought I would give you a break from Christmas cards today and share my make for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.   This week the theme is "Don't Be Square".

I must admit that most of my creations are made on square cards so it made quite a change to break out my DL cards .. .. .. which have been packed away for far longer than they should have been.

This cute little Penny Black image is just perfect for a DL .. .. .. in fact I don't think it actually fits on my square ones.

Here is my creation

and the close up

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1692K" Everest Next
Backing Papers:  Cuddly Buddly Download "Quilted Holly" (not that there is any on these sheets LOL!!)
Martha Stewart Punches:  Embossed Zig Zag and Frond
X-Cut Punch:  Flower (with rounded petals)
Woodware Punch:  Flower (with pointed petals)
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Distressed Ink Pad:  Old Paper
Ribbon and brad from the stash box

Whilst here I also need to thank my lovely blog buddy "Doreen" for presenting me with the following award.  Thank you so much for thinking of me when passing your award on Doreen (xx) .. ..  you are a much better blogger than I am because I always coward out and never pass mine on.  That is simply because I cannot choose between all of my bloggy mates .. .. you all have beautiful blogs crammed full of inspiration .. .. so if you visit me and would like to take this award from me then please take it with my love and thanks.

In the meantime if you get chance then please pop over to see Doreen.  She is one prolific cardmaker and makes so many creations over the course of a week it is unbelievable.  Such and inspiration.

So a big night tonight in the house of hearts .. .. Lord Sugar starts his selection process for his next apprentice.  One of my favourite programmes .. .. and last night hubby volunteered to cook too (Ah.. .. bless!!!!) .. .. so one lovely evening ahead for me.

Take care everyone.  Catch you again tomorrow.

Love
