My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

A GROWN UP CARD TODAY

Hi Everyone

How's your day been?

Mine has been dull and wet weather wise .. .. .. with just the odd glimpse of sunshine .. .. .. and very windy again.  All of the beautiful leaves are slowly falling from the trees and taking up residence on the lawns and the roads and pavements.

A quick share today of a "grown up" card.  No cutsie creation today.  Don't worry though .. .. I haven't grown up.  I'm never planning on doing that.

So here is my creation

This used:

Image:  Stampendous! "P106" Mother and Child
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Distress Ink:  Tea Dye .. .. for stamping and distressing
Ribbon from the stash box

and that is it!!!!!  But with such a gorgeous stamp you don't need much else .. .. in fact I could have got away without the ribbon.

I had a bit more good news today.  My luck must be in at the moment as I won the challenge over at Bee Crafty's Tuesday Challenge today.  A new challenge has just been launched using a fab sketch.  Why not pop over and have a look.

OK back to my creations .. .. still a few to do before I am happy to give in.

Have a lovely evening.

Love

What a lovely, gentle mood your card evokes, Jules. And I think you were absolutely right to keep it simple, and monochrome. Just beautiful.

Beautifully elegant! It's gorgeous although I have to confess that your floppy tree and PBs are probably more up my street. You're right, I think we are very alike (especially with the driving thing and the fast roads!) Hugs to you, Lesley
