My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HERE AT LAST

Hi Everyone

Well did you think I had got lost in the fog?

Nasty day around and about here today.  Freezing fog for most of the day .. .. boy was I pleased to see hubby home safe and sound tonight.

A quick share of a make today that was inspired by one of my blog buddies Beryl from Beryl's Place.    Thank you for the inspiration Beryl xx.

This used:

Image:  Delicious Doodles "Deer Fawn"
Image:  Hero Arts "S5316" Silhouette Grass
Sentiment:  Hobby Art Clear "CS016D" General Greetings
Backing Papers:  No name - part of a bundle from the NEC about 2 years ago
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads

I'm really pleased with the finished look.

I also did very well today in that I needed to post a parcel off from our local post office .. .. which is also part of a large chemist shop.   Whilst there I managed to buy three Christmas presents!!  Woo hoo!!!  Very special Christmas presents at that.

I have a friend who I buy for .. .. well for my friend and her two daughters (our children went to school together many, many years ago).  We started a thing years ago that we were only allowed to spend a pound on each present and do you know we have more fun looking for those one pound presents than we would if we were allowed to spend ten times that much.  Well chuffed to have got those.

So that is me for today.  One smug little Christmas shopper .. .. .. but still with lots to do!!  LOL!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Love

Your card as usual is stunning, the image is beautiful and I love the grass alongside and the backing paper goes so well.

I love the story about the presents and it is true that it is the thought that counts.xxx

Love your card Jules. Those deer are magnificent (I've seen Beryl's lovely card too)and I keep meaning to look out for that lovely silhouette grass image.

We haven't had the fog thank goodness but we have enough on our plates with the copious amounts of snow we still have here and even worse in my opinion (after my slip at the beginning of the year) is the 5+ inches of solid ice covering absolutely everywhere except the main bus routes.

Stay warm and safe Buddy,

Hugs
Lesley Xx

Stunning card Jules. You do inspire me.... How I wish I had that deer stamp today - I have to make a card to send to the U.S.A. and this would suit admirably but I'm stuck in behind mounds of snow!!

Hi Jules that image is gorgeous, you will find deer around the forest here, but you certainly dont want to hit them, or let them hit you they are really powerful. Stunning card and colour choice. With love and hugs Shirleyxx

Oh it's fab Jules and I have to say thank you for the inspiration too. I hadn't thought of it as other than a Christmas card but now I can use it all year round. Mmm - wonder if I can get away with the polar bears (Delicious Doodles too) year round as well.
The monochrome colour scheme and the stamping over the gingham paper is brilliant.
