My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MUCH GIFTED

Hi Everyone

I hope your day has gone well.  We have had more snow .. .. but thankfully it didn't settle (though we are promised more at the weekend that probably will!!).

My day has been quite good in terms of finishing off shopping and gift wrapping .. .. .. but sadly no tree has come out of the roof yet ready for decorating!!!   Perhaps tomorrow?!?!?!

Here is my share for today .. .. this is for my youngest Son to give his Dad on Saturday.

Yes, hubby has a birthday exactly a week before Christmas!!!  I always feel sorry for folk who have a birthday so close to Christmas .. .. their birthday cards get lost amongst the Christmas cards!!  So in our house I never put any Christmas cards up until the birthday ones have been taken down.

Anyway, here it is

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3212K" Much Gifted
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat
Sentiment:  "DAD"  =  Woodware Clear Stamp Set "Male Relatives"
Backing Paper:  Funky Hand CD "Dreams Come True"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Nestabilities:  Large Deckled Mega Rectangle
ProMarkers
Cord from the Stash Box

I am entering this into the challenge over at "Oldie But a Goodie" where they would like to see a star on your creation.

There is also a call out for Guest DT members if you fancy applying.

OK then .. .. that is me for tonight.  I had better go and do a bit of work on "my" birthday card for my lovely hubby!!!  I wonder if I gave him the one I made him last year again he would remember LOL!!!!

I'll catch you all again tomorrow.

Love

Hello Jules what a gorgeous card I do like the image.

My youngest son has his birthday on 27th which is not quite so bad!! being after Christmas is a bit better I think than before.

I don't know about your hubby but I could give my hubby the same card for years and he wouldn't notice.
Have a nice evening.xxx

Great card, Jules, he'll love it! My daughter has been giving her dad the same card for about the last 15 years! He keeps it for a while and then gives it back to her ready for next year! xx

Hi Jules

What a nice idea to keep Hubby's Birthday cards separate from Christmas. As you say, it must be really hard to have two special days so close together. I have a friend who's birthday is Christmas Day and I always make an effort to get her something special just for her Birthday. She told me the other day that she never ever had a birthday party as a child, how sad is that?
Anyway, I love your card and hope Mr Jules has a very happy day.
BTW I'm not that organised really, you'd laugh if you could see the general chaos we occupy!!!
Hugs Lisax

Fab card Jules. I think it's very nice of you not to put up your Christmas cards until the birthday ones have been taken down. It took me a while to find the heart on this one!
Thank you for joining our "You're a Star" challenge at Oldie but a Goodie.
