My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

JULES' CRAFTY SNIPPET CHALLENGE - WEEK 26

Hi Everyone

Wow!!!  Can you believe it?  I have been using up my snippets on a Sunday for half a year now!!!

I don't feel I have made much headway with them but I suppose if I was to pile up all the paper and card I have used on my snippet creations over the last 6 months there would be quite a collection and considering the amount I produce over the course of a week then I shouldn't be too hard on myself.

Today has been a very productive day both in terms of snippet creations and jobs about the house .. .. I have even managed to make a banana cake .. .. well it is just finishing off in the oven.  It smells gorgeous and is making me feel very hungry!!!  That should be nice with a bit of custard on for pudding later or icecream .. .. mmmm...!!!

So here are my snippet makes for this week:

.. .. and because so many of my playmates have been being so good I thought I had better get a Christmas card in too.

Perhaps from now until Christmas I should add one every week.

As you can probably tell it was my blue snippet drawer that was causing me the most problems this week so that is the one I decided to attack.
So, who else joined me in my snippet playground last week?

Well first off the starting block was Lynne who has shared two beautiful cards which feature backing papers which I bet are sitting in most people's paper stash.  This pack of paper is certainly sitting in my paper collection and just seems never ending.  It was the first paper pack I bought when I started crafting.  I doubt I will ever see the end of it even if I craft until I am a hundred and two!!  LOL!!

Thank you for reminding me that these papers are still in my collection Lynne (I think LOL!!!).

Next was my regular playmate Sandra who shared a gorgeous card .. .. such a cute image and great colour combo.  I particularly love what Sandra has done with her flower .. .. it has lovely dimension.  Thanks you for the inspiration Sandra!

Then Lisa came out to play.  Lisa wasn't happy though as she was struggling with hayfever and was in search of her mojo.  I don't think it was far away judging by the lovely creations she shared.  Lisa has some fantastic stamps and always uses the most lovely colours!!

Next was Sally who has used the most gorgeous of stamps to create her snippet make.  Oh dear!!  I am seeing far too many lovely things in blogland at the moment.  Great colour combo on this one too and a lovely scallop theme.

Of course Claire knew just how to make me swoon with her fantastic snippet creation .. .. and when you see it you will know why.  Plus I loved the reasoning behind it too.  Thank you Claire.

Then last but by no means least was Kaz who came out to play twice this week.  Two beautiful projects.  The first one you will find here and the second here.   I love both of the cards that Kaz has shown .. but my favourite just has to be the second one . .. .. it is simply fantastic.

Thank you so much for keeping me company ladies.  It is much nicer being in the playground with playmates!!

I hope that you all get chance to pop along and have a look at the creations everyone has made.

So that is me for today .. .. off now to get dinner finished and then tonight I can sit and have a good blog hop and see what everyone has been up to.

Love

Hi Jules, I used to have a lovely recipe for banana & coconut loaf which was just lovely - I wonder what I did with it - it would be nice to make it again. Love your blue snippet cards this week - no one would ever know that they were made from leftovers. Elizabeth xx

Love the birdies, and all the others as well. I must make more cards, but the weather has been so nice up here all I managed to do was the orders and nothing for myself, sometimes we need a bit of rain and not just for the garden lol...
