A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

JULES' CRAFTY SNIPPET CHALLENGE - WEEK 29

Hi Everyone

Well what can I say?

The reveal of the extent of my snippets last week clearly shocked quite a few of you lovely onlookers -but it also made lots of you feel much more comfortable with your own snippet collections. LOL!!

But believe me it could be far worse!!!  I do use my snippets whenever I can .. .. but refuse to throw any away!!!  Sometime crafty playmates come round and use some of them up but I am sure I will never be clear of them completely .

However, in my defence I do make cards, invitations and favour boxes etc every day from dawn until dusk (but with reduced hours at the weekend LOL!! ) .. .. so I do create rather a lot of the blighters!!

Anyway, I have three snippet makes this week which were all made with the intention of using up some of those white snippets that are overflowing from their storage area.  So apart from a few snippets of patterned paper, this week distress inks and clear embossing powder have come into play to colour plain white snippets up.

So there were lots of playmates using up their snippets this week .. ..  some regular faces and some brand new ones.  Can you believe that some were even brave enough to share pictures of their snippet collections.. .. and I have one very special playmate who joined in via email!!!

So let me start calling the register of all the lovely snippetiers who gathered in the playground this week .. ..

Quite a few were very on the ball and joined in straight away as soon as I posted my creations for the day .. ..

Bright and early was Lynne who shared a gorgeous card made with her snippets .. .. BUT ALSO .. .. photographs of all her snippets strewn across the bed .. .. and then all super organised into storage boxes.   Well done Lynne .. .. and I am pleased that seeing my snippet stash made you feel so much better .. .. all part of the service LOL!!  I like to think I make people feel good about themselves .. tee hee!!!

Next was Helen who shared the most gorgeous caterpillar card.  It reminded me of "the very hungry caterpillar".  I love the finished look of this very much.

Irene joined the playground next .. .. in fact she came along with two lovely snippet makes this week.  The first one you can find here and the second one here.  I love Irene's cards so much as she always adds such beautiful sentiments and I have decided to Christen her "the sentiment Queen".  The sentiments are always so very profound and nearly always ones I should take heed off!!

Di was another lovely playmate who visited twice this week with two fabby creations.  The first one you can find here and the second here.  Di said she is on a roll with her snippets .. .. and I do think it is infectious .. .. there is a sense of satisfaction in using up some of the gorgeous offcuts that hang about the craft space.  I love the sentiment on the second creation very much.  Something lots of us can relate to I'm sure!!!    You can even see Di's organised snippet collection here (following her clean up campaign).

Another double playmate this week was Amanda who created two brilliant projects with her snippets.  The first one (with its fantastic colour combo) you will find here and the second one is here using what is probably my favourite "get well" image of all time!! (so far LOL!!).

Then yet another double whammy came from Samantha who has also got a snippet mountain she would like to reduce .. .. the first of Samantha's lovely creations can be found here (lovely to see snippets being used for things other than cardmaking!!) and the second beauty is here and proves that you don't need to cover your card with all kinds of everything for it to be lovely.

Next was Beryl who showed an abundance of patience with her creation .. .. I have this die and know that this snowman is quite a fiddly little chappie to put together .. .. but the finished result was certainly worth it.  A beautiful Christmas card Beryl .. thanks for sharing.

Sandra came to the party next .. .. along with her sparkly party hats!!  I loved these Sandra very much .. .. great colour combo and layout.  Loving the idea of repeating an image .. .. it gives a great finished look.  Brilliant inspiration.

Next to join the happy gang was Lisa with her tips for a great diet!!  Sounds good to me but I don't somehow think it will work LOL!!  There are some fantastic ideas on this creation .. .. I might need to borrow one or two of them!!!

Andria also proved this week that snippets are good for more than cards.  Prepare for a treat here .. .. if only we could have "smellie blog posts" as this would then be a treat for the eyes and for the nose!!!  A beautiful post Andria .. thank you for sharing.

My next playmate was the lovely Mandy who used her snippets to create a really fun and colourful creation.  I love the rainbow and clouds on this make.   Such a happy card.

Then Katina came out to play with a gorgeous make using the most lovely colours .. .. and a snippet that I wish  had been in my collection!!!

Those are all my linked playmates .. .. but I do have another couple to share .. .

Firstly is Sally .. .. who made a lovely snippet creation but was someone else who was brave enough to share her snippet collection.  I wonder if mine will every compact into something this size LOL!!!

Then last but by no means least .. ... my lovely Big Baby Boy emailed me a snippet creation he had made as a birthday card for the man who was best man at his wedding.  I have a feeling my lovely DIL would have been assigned the job but as she was away "on a dig" the task fell to my Son.

Here is his creation:

Love the lizard .. .. and is that a bit of distressing you have done there?  .. .. well done for taking on the challenge Paul (I am so proud of you, as always xx).    Edited to say that now my lovely DIL has returned home from her "dig" I have had it reported to me that the image had already been produced by Cat and was sitting waiting to be used .. .. so this had better now be officially recognised as a joint effort.  I don't want to cause trouble in paradise  LOL!!  Thank you kids xx  (Hope you hadn't got plans for it on your return Cat and now you have to start again?)

OK .. .. that is my marathon post done.

I hope you have time to visit all the lovely blogs so that you can meet the lovely people who join me each week in the snippet playground and make it such a special place to be.  It is lovely to have playmates.

Have a lovely evening everyone and I hope the week ahead is going to be a good one for you.

Love

Lovely Snippets as always, Jules, that colourful flower is great and I see that amazing medallion has had an outing again. I did all the teacher cards with it this week, I must blog them.
It looks like you have been teaching your brother well, his card is gorgeous.
I had to laugh at you keeping a prestine cutting plate for the 'bug. I do that too but have slipped a few times and cut into it so don't be too hard on your poor Sis.
Have a great week.
Hugs Lisax

Oh fabulous cards each and every one.
I love the pink and blue Christmas card.
A huge Well Done for your son Paul!!!

How in the world did you get all those liquid pearls to be the same size?? I love the stuff but make a muck of it if I try to use it more then a few times on a single project.

Paul is so cheeky, I had previously created the lizard and wasn't sure what to do with him. I can't believe he tried to pass this off as his own! LOL

WOW! Three stunning cards Jules, if I had to pick a fave it would be the first but only because I'm obsessed with pink so that really jumped out at me!

Soooooo much inspiration in this post from your talented playmates, it's taken me 2 days to read it all hehe :o)
