My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HARDLY WORTH BOTHERING !!

Hi Everyone

Well, what can I say?

It is hardly worth me making an appearance today .. .. where has my day gone?

I got up super early today so that I could fit lots in and still I'm not satisfied.   What a hard task-master I am LOL!!!

But Christmas cards are still needed so here is another one I have just finished.  Today has been all weddings apart from one other little make I can't share just yet .. .. so it was nice to get my Promarkers out and do a little colouring.

This used:

Image:  Whiff of Joy "Uru and Bird"
Sentiment:  Sorry I don't know who made the little date stamp.  It is quite old and there is nothing on the carry sheet and I have no packaging :-(
Backing Papers:  Funky Hand Download "Funky Little Christmas"
Hobbycraft Punches:  Snowflake
ProMarkers
Chalks
Glamour Dust
Self Adhesive Pearls

I was daring myself to colour the background in my promarkers but was a coward and used my chalks .. .. I had already coloured my image and didn't want to ruin everything.  Perhaps another time I will do the background first and just see how I get on.

Right, bathtime for me now!!

Catch you again tomorrow .. .. hopefully a little earlier!

Love

Hi Jules
Another cutie of a card. Great job with the chalk. I would not even know what to apply the chalk with. I have not tried any backgrounds with promarkers either.

This is just gorgeous Jules love the image. I have never dared to use Promarkers for backgrounds either, I tend to use inks or chalks.xxx

The chalks make a beautiful background, just enough.
Hope you enjoyed your soak.

Brilliant Jules - I love those bootees :) I wonder if the date stamp could be an Elzybells one - I might have one the same hidden somewhere. I think you, like me, have a few Elzybells stamps and am sure they just came in a clear poly bag. A crying shame they aren't still making stamps :( Love, Di xx

What a lovely image that one is. Gorgeous. Totally understand about Promarker-ing the background after colouring the image . . . scary stuff!

Just lovely Jules; I really like the chalked background and the way you've edged the snowflake. It's these little details that really make your cards special - apart from searching for the heart that was very well camouflaged on this make! Do you think I've got nothing better to do, lol?!! xxx
