My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday !!

This time next week the Festival will nearly be over for yet another year :-( and my lovely Sis and I will be on a "mini sulking session".

We look forward to the Festival all year as it means we spend two days and nights together .. .. woo hoo!!!!

My Sis has been working really hard on getting her stock together but at the same time building up a new website.  Can't wait to see it.  She is hoping it will be finished to go live tomorrow .. .. so not long to wait now.  I am really proud of her as she has done all of this alongside a full-time job .. .. what a grafter!!

But for me .. .. a snippet to share which will be entered into Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge

As always I am super lazy on a Sunday and do not list my ingredients .. .. but if you want to know anything you know you only have to ask.

I am well chuffed with this little make as it used the technique I had tried here with wax paper.  But this time I used distress inks and some freshly bought wax paper and the result is much better.

So that is me for today.  Time to go and get some veg prepared for the evening meal alongside cranking that Cuttlebug handle a multitude of times for some place names I need to complete.

You will be surprised to know that we did actually manage around 20 minutes sitting out in the garden last night.  We took our mugs of tea out there and relaxed .. until the little midges annoyed us so much that we went back indoors LOL!!!

Catch you tomorrow

Love

Gorgeous snippet make today, Jules! I love those backing papers and the image is just so sweetly beautiful! Sorry to hear about the midges ruining your outdoor time. We have the same problem here with mosquitoes. *sigh* It's always something, isn't it?? ;-)

Oh yes, Jules, this does look chic! The embossed pink background is so pretty!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is wax paper? I know greaseproof and baking parchment and freezer paper but I've never seen wax paper! Seeing this pretty effect, I really want to have a go myself!!

love Mags B x
